I wonder if it was ever a consideration to have player and unit damage at the end of the round calculated and executed at the same time, like not have that second unit damage hit with the boom. Instead of being left wondering if your gonna survive with 1 life when the boom hits, just have all hp damage be done by the boom at the end of the round.

if more than half of the ezreals are taken (even if it's by you) then he can't show up as a headliner. Idk other bad luck rules though

Getting 10 is a guaranteed win. Obviously it is something that is supposed to be hit when luck hits its peak. It also adds some small side quest for players as the game can get kinda stale and boring.
