Hello brother, I don't have website, so I can't register.
Yes, software engineering jobs are probably not going anywhere any time soon, even with development with AI. My personal favorite is Python!

I really do hope it's like that; right now I'm either wanting to do something as a software engineer, architecture or cardiology. I hope they all manage to still exist later.
all great advice dude, your chill attitude makes this all a lot less intimidating and i appreciate that. my coding journey has been very on/off since i left college, so this makes it feel much more attainable. thanks for sharing!

In 2023, I firmly believe C# is the programming language to master. With its deep integration with the .NET framework and versatility in creating everything from desktop applications to web services, it's the clear winner in today's development landscape. While Python and Java have their merits, the robustness and scalability offered by C# make it stand out as the top choice for serious programmers.

Isn’t c++ faster and more robust than c# ?
Been cheking your videos, good information and you seem chill, so nice work! I've been learning python over the last months and I like it, heard some people say it's "basic" but to me it does not matter if I can do the same thing but more simple.
Keep up the great work bro! Grateful for coming across your channel!

Hi Brian, im your friend André speaking here in Brasil, my question Is.. Is there a good job demand for those who work from home or is it preferable to always work in a good company?
@brianruizy I like to start off by saying your videos inspire me to grow and continue to learn to code at all cost. I wanted to ask for your opinion I'm currently a 35 year old happily married father but looking for a career change yes I know I'm getting into tech pretty old lol. So the question is do I continue to pursue college and get my bachelors in CS and learn coding languages on the side using all the free online resources or attend a bootcamp to fast track my way into tech?
@brianruizy
Жыл бұрын
Really depends on your details. But if you already have another college degree you may not need to get a CS degree (to land a job). It’s hard to advice not knowing everything, but would definitely encourage Coding overall. And, no, you’re not too old! If you are thinking about learning to code, I encourage you to go for it. It is a skill that can open up many doors for you, both personally and professionally.

@@brianruizy yes it does, thanks! As a software engineer, when it comes to being competitive for a role, do you think the school’s prestige plays a big role?
@brianruizy
Жыл бұрын
It can absolutely put you in favor, but for some roles and some hiring managers they will probably look at your actual development skills. I’d say if you have an opportunity to be in a top Comp. Sci, then by all means. If not, then it’s not the end of the line for you.
How much do you make as a software engineer?
