Thanks Josh! It’s definitely our longest video to date. Honestly I don’t know how you do it! Haha. And also a big thanks to you for your past Joshua Tree videos. They definitely helped us plan out our itinerary. Looking forward to bringing the girls back to check out some of those mines when they’re older!

very nice, love Joshua Tree! want to take our daughter when the weather is warmer. we know the dangers of the cholla cactus garden first hand from a previous visit lol so cool that some of the major view points and park landmarks are easily accessible by car. thanks for sharing ✨

Oh yeah our friend’s a nurse and he helped another visitor get a couple barbs out during our visit! It didn’t look fun at all. It definitely made our 5 year old not want to mess around near the cactus. Overall we were really happy with the things you can still do in there with younger kids :)

I really didn’t think more desert was gonna impressive me but I was completely wrong. Beautiful hikes for sure :)

Yeah we felt super lucky to get a spot for the van at all these parking lots first try. I Had been worrying about parking for a couple days before driving up. I’m sure spring’s gonna be packed. Hopefully that luck continues at the other National Parks this year 🤞

Amazing video! Thank you for sharing. We would love to take this trip. My Wife, 5 yr old Son and our two dogs made the trip from California to Colorado in 2021 when we moved to the Rocky Mountains.

Thanks! Yeah Joshua Tree was such a surprise! I’m sure y’all have seen a lot of amazing stuff in Colorado. We’ve been trying to visit the state but both times weather threw off our plans.

Thanks for making this video with younger kids in mind! My kids love the outdoors but aren't fond of hiking either, so this was great! You had me ROFL though when you mentioned bringing kids could easily double hike times. So true.

LOL So happy you found it! Yeah being outdoors with kids is another level for sure! Thankfully, our girls are quite the outdoorsy little ladies now that we've been out so much the past couple years. We've got a bunch a fun outdoor stuff for kids still in our backlog so please check back in soon! All sorts of stuff around Big Sur, Utah and then some :)

We just went this weekend! I’d like to say, my kids likely quadrupled the estimated hike times and did half the things on the list haha. Nonetheless we had tons of fun climbing rocks and just seeing a different landscape than what we’re used to living in Northern CA. Thanks again for the video as it was very informative and encouraging!

Thank you for coming back to watch! We really appreciate it! As for visiting Joshua Tree in summer I would say, “please don’t!” It gets extremely hot out in that part of the desert during the summer. The best months to visit Joshua Tree would be Oct-Nov in the fall or Mar-May in the spring :)

We have! I think the fact that it’ll be such a big video I’ve been finding other things to post. Haha. But! The plan is to finally get Redwoods posted next month. Followed by Yosemite and Death Valley. So be sure to come check back in :)

I really want to explore Joshua Tree further but it's hard with the young ones. The weather must be good around this time of the year though.
