I've only been playing the bassoon for about a year now, but it's my favorite of all my instruments; I truly admire how versatile this instrument is. Jazz? No worries. Blues? Sure. Classical? Celtic? No worries. If you want an instrument you can use to play pretty much anything, the bassoon is your baby!

Superb playing by Joshua Elmore, Vince Disantis and Jon-Erik Chandler! So fun to hear the Weisenborn Trios!

As someone who’s played first bassoon on these, props to these guys. Their technique is just stunning👏🏻

Just played from 9:05 on double bass as 3rd bassoon with two others - it went fabulously!

Love the bassoon ,, strange instrument , yet I love it's low notes ..... !!!
