As someone who freaks out when she makes a mistake and who thinks of you as the perfect bassist, it tickled me to see your reaction to the "mistake". By the way, there aren't many who could even attempt that lick. More than your skill and talent, your humanity is what really shands out. Thank you fot brightening my days in isolation.

Leland is freaking awesome don't get me wrong but there's no need to put great players on a pedestal like that. Any bass player could be able to play that lick with enough practice. A lot of practice sure but how do you think Leland got to that point? You should see a lick like that and say I wanna be able to play it almost as well as Leland, not well I guess I can't right now so no one can. I think that sounds really harsh, I don't mean it to be I just know us musicians need a kick up the backside sometimes to get our mindset right and practice more, I know I do.

After that mistake he says "I've got to practice"... 73 years old!!! Golden mindset. My mother is 57 and she says "I'm too old for everything". You are never too old. Arriba mi amigo! Saying hi from Argentina :)

I had a plessure to be at Phill's concert in Dublin and hear all band's great job. It was probably year 2005 or 06. It was my first big concert in Ireland. I appreciate You play so long together as one big family. I it's not that coming anymore. Mostly session musician are get hired for the job. Great to see also that mistakes are human nature, doesn't matter how many gigs You've played around the world 🙂✌️

Dear Leland, "But Seriously" was my first Phil Collins Album which i heard a thousand times. I knew every single note (still know) that was played on any song. There where 2 drummers and 1 Bassplayer that inspired me becoming a pro. drummer/musician; Phil Collins / Billy Cobham and Leland Sklar and that album i mentioned. For me you guys are not only inspiration, you teached me what i means being a great musician and have a great taste of music. For this i thank you a lot. And in case you´re interested in hearing something, let me know. All the best and stay healthy.

Thank you for doing this project! So cool to watch - and learn from - one of the very best! Today I am thankful for the lesson I have needed for a very long time - that even the best can make mistakes! I've always been really hard on myself when I clam onstage... Thanks again, I'm hanging for as long as you'll have us!
