When she had to change herself the new job it was really steep learning curve for her , she had the time to learn the ropes. Sometimes she felt she was thrown to the deep end. ..from that experience she got to know that thinking outside the box was the excellent solution to solve the problems , She climed the coperrate ladder , she could be a manager in her new company by the time she was 27... After my graduation, I started to work at a big company and learnt the ropes at the very beginning. Chances were that I was thrown in the deep end at first, while I wasn’t scared at all and felt it a steep learning curve. I work very hard and always think outside the box. Hope I can get promoted quickly and climb the corporate ladder.
Learning English with you will be a really steep learning curve for me to become fluent and confident. Big up

Hi Emma!! I’m a Japanese, living in Australia with working holiday visa. I’ve studied English with your videos, and it’s been really helpful so thanks a lot!! I made a sentence with an idiom that you shared in this video, so I’d like to share with everyone!! “When once I get a job that I want, I want to climb the corporate ladder as quickly as I can” I wonder if it could be a natural sentence haha

Hi Manga-Lover, my apology for intruding. If you allow me , I wish to reply in place of Emma as the latter is a very very busy person & give some tips in English-learning as a foreign language. Your written English is more than good; you have grasped how verbs work in the three, i.e past, present & future which include the conditional and the possible. May be you could find yourself in the not too far future (if not already ) to make an unprepared speech ( impromptu & improvise', as we say in French ) before friends & guests. Here is an important tip; In written English, we could make nice pretty rambling sentences but in oral i.e spoken, we have to make short phrases, nice & short, brief & concise, no more no less. Your discours or speech would be fully appreciated by your friends & alike. Hope you could still read me after all those turbulences, social & political, past and recent in your native-country & world-wide. Regards.
I love to see your spirit, when you think outside the box for your every upcoming video.
I studied English literature in the college of arts , Baghdad , I feel you are nearest person to my ears , American teachers have no ability to pronounce like you , thanks for your efforts .

Thank you Emma youre a great wonderful helpful teacher. We finally complete that hard project cause Richard always think outside the box.
My quest for a good Aussie English teacher seems to have succeeded. Emma is no doubt the best one. But not only that, she is also one of the best English teachers, regardless of the accent. I have found only one other, Paul Gruber, but his accent is quite a strong American one. For British English, there was one, the one in "Streamline English" but that is antique...Thanks Emma
hello teacher, thank you so much for this useful lesson, please could you do a lesson about some of the IELTS speaking and writing tips?

Otherwise I was not deserve to climb the corporate ladder quickly. Eventually I was failed to do that. Thank you teacher. Oh! Your voice is little changed.

At the first day of my internship being thrown in the deep end made me worried but I' ve learned the ropes. To climb coporate ladder working hard is the most important key.
Thank you so much for your video , I like hearing your way to speak English . I'll do like you now .
My first day at coaching institue really thrown me into the deep.
Nice.. Thanks
To climb the corporate ladder I really need to learn English and watching this channel is a really steep learning curve for me
I was thrown in the deep end when I joined my new job. My job really goes well and my team is great but I feel out of depth. Learning the ropes in a new workplace take sometime. Smart work will really stand in good stead to climb the corporate ladder. People who think outside the box handle things better than others. I am in a steep learning curve now.
Hi Emma, At the time I joined my new company, I didn't need to learn the ropes as I get used to doing the same stuff at the previous work place. However, I've been thrown in the deep end, and I didn't like that because I was in a charge with a new software product, which I have no enough idea about it, so I was totally out of my depth. When I became frustrated with my career, I decided to think out of the square. Hence, I decided to change my bread and butter to teaching English instead of dealing with software, but at first I need to steep my English learning curve. I'm pretty confident that I'll climb the teaching ladder as I believe in my teaching skills, which are: extremely patient, good listener to listen to students, highly capable to break down any big piece of information to many particles of information with giving examples, and above all of that is my passion to deal with languages, especially English. Thanks a lot Emma and patiently will be waiting for your next lesson ☺. Regards, Ahmad,

Wonderful!! You've done a brilliant job here 😊 There's one part I want to correct for you: "but at first I need to steep my English learning curve." You've used 'steep' as a verb here, but in the expression, it's an adjective describing the 'learning curve'. You need to explain 'what' was a steep learning curve... So instead you need to say: "But improving my English was a steep learning curve."
