In this week's video I wanted to share some must-know tips and tricks for Civil 3D!
In case you didn't know, my day job is as a Senior Civil Designer and I've used C3D Daily for well over a decade. I'm excited to share some of my favorite tips for new users to help speed things up as well as uncover some lesser-known commands and uses of the software.
By following these steps and using the commands and tips in the video, you'll be able to quickly crop down large surfaces, import or copy C3D styles from other drawings, assign coordinate systems & Import SHP & kml files!

    Good Morning, Can you tell me the accuracy of the terrain contours and features you are getting from Google Earth with the Plexearth add on for Civil 3D?

    Does the cropped surface path reside in the original drawing? Couldn't this create update issues for designing in the new drawing?

    Hi guys, how to make Model Space and Layout Space always look like a "Print Preview"? -this way we can always see the actual output - without always going to Print Setting to preview how it looks
