Parents cannot be blamed for every child's actions. Some parents try their outermost best, society and peer pressure is a major issue

True....all parents cannot be blamed for children's bad Behaviour.... because parenting is not the only factor in children's Behaviour.....But parenting is the MAJOR FACTOR. And there is no doubt that POOR PARENTING and DYSFUNCTIONAL FAMILIES are easily the MAJOR CAUSES of children's bad Behaviour!

Children inherit the consequences of the actions of their families' previous generations. Children will inherit these consequences as blessings and curses, regardless of quality of upbringing. Many Jamaican families burden their next generations with negative consequences because those families keep many dirty secrets that protect dysfunctional ancestors, elders and adults while those families turn a blind eye to the burdening and sacrifice of their children. What looks well on the outside is often rotting on the inside.. Chaos, decadence, abuse, indiscipline, disrespect for laws and authority, and a criminal mentality are practised and condoned by many Jamaican adults and families that pervert and corrupt their own children. The adults are the chicken; the children are the egg.

If the teachers and police try to discipline the child, the "parents'' run come and assault them saying that they are the parents and you can't say anything to or touch them. Sad they're only parents when the children are to be held accountable for their actions. CMA POLICY: not all parents are like this. *

I beg of us not to just ignore my comments. Poor parenting has cast a lot of problems I agree. Stop blaming everyone else. We whatvthe teachers to produce A grade students. They really are attending to bad behaviors. If they correct one student the family and ministry is coming. Teachers watch out for ur safety. You can get other jobs. We blame examiners for restless driving. One Taxi man want all the passengers. Fix that n see how accidents will cut. Bus drivers and taxi breaks all the road code. Passengers are also very much responsible. Leaving out late and if the driver not flying is a problem. Address the problem and stop blaming authorities. When they work we still don't like it.

@@carmenmckenzie3707 Research support what I said. We had an absentee father and extended family members were nearby. However, the Internet was not at virtually everyone's fingertip, there was no social media and no easy access to illegal guns and a general breakdown in society. If you speak to someone over 60 years old, she/he can tell you how relatively innocent things were then. Murder was not common, teachers were HIGHLY respected, and a fistfight between school kids didn't go any further than that. There were always single mothers and absentee fathers, but there were none of the negative influences I mentioned. Today, with a few exceptions, a child from a poor neighborhood with no father around, is growing up in warped society that is vastly different from the one prior to 1970.

If they are so smart, they should have prepared for this. The signs were and still all around. Jamaica has a lot of water underground. Most of Jamaca is limestone. Therefore, there are many caves filled with water underground.

Dwight is not intouch with reallity, he needs to stop blaming parents, does he know how many parent have tried hard and have done their best to grow their children the right way and has soon as they enter high school everything change. some of these children jjoin the gangs because they do not have a choice becauce they tired of being bullied and beaten by other students, some even form their own gang, so yes we need to nip it in the school and, Dwight i am so disappointed in you it is better you have kept your mouth shut, your days of going to school and what the reallity is now is totally different. Stop playing politics.

How about building a proper water purifying plant system and stop blaming climate change, with all the billions you are getting from aluminium , why not divert some of that money into building a treatment plant, and stop putting the money into your pockets ? Climate change happen, no matter what condition your land is, even if it has the largest rainforest in the world . These changes are natural, and have nothing to do with tearing down forests . . Look at the deserts around the world . People did not cause the desert to appear because they chopped down the trees, because the number of people on the earth was not as much as today .
