Seems like any animal you move in immediately wants start making babies which means that they've found themselves the perfect environment.

The geckos produce their own eggs, without a mate. they are pretty infamous for running around laying eggs everywhere.

@@EvoSchecter You must also know, chickens are pretty infamous for running around laying eggs everywhere. The thing is, the eggs have to be fertile if you want babies. Not all eggs automatically produce a baby lol.
One of the most insane setups I've ever seen. It's literally it's own miniature ecosystem at this point.

@Verderion doesn’t make it any less impressive
there is actually a crab species in Jamaica (Metopaulius depressus) that raises its young in bromeliads and removes harmful insect larvae and dead leaves and even adds snail shells for calcium

I wonder if Metopaulius is related to Geosesarma, or at least somewhere close to the Sesarmidae.

I saw these vampire crabs at my local aquarium and really wanted to try a set up with them there was also other vividly coloured crab in the next tank. Amazing creatures. Wish I’d taken steps to do it watching this.
You got an entire ecosystem in your bedroom. Wow, that is really nice to look at everyday. Must be really relaxing to look at it at night time.

He wouldve already blown up if he were more consistent, like ants canada or some of the other huge channels that are similar
I did something similar to this when I was a kid (with lots of adult help) after seeing an advertisement in this herpetology magazine I had a subscription to showing a terrarium/aquarium split in half to allow for aquatic, terrestrial, and semi-aquatic animals. It took like three months to get it all working properly but when I did it was super cool. I had newts, crabs, fire-bellied toads, Dwarf African clawed frogs, a family of geckos, an assortment of fish, and probably other things I either didn’t have for very long or am just forgetting about. The tank was 75-100 gallons so if anything happened to not get along well there was enough room for them to keep their distance and everything seemed to prosper. Everything in the tank that had a viable mate eventually reproduced over the five or so years I had it. It eventually busted during cleaning and I had to get rid of everything. They were all sent to good homes though. I did this with minimal help since there were no guides to follow back then, at least not ones that were easily accessible to a 10-15 year old. I’ve always been curious about what kind of ecosystem I could create as an adult with access to the internet and limitless amounts of money but I’ve never pulled the trigger on it. Every now and then I get the itch and look stuff like this up. Maybe one day I’ll finally do it.

Honestly your tank is like a little slice of tropical forest paradise 😍 it makes me so happy to see all those animals thriving ❤️
I like how they set them eggs high so the crabs can’t return the hate, it’s probably why the one was at the top, it’s the scout letting them know that when F day comes.
Man made a whole fucking forest neighborhood. He’s the neighborhood watch, geckos are the weird kids down the street, and crabs have the street BBQ. I don’t know why but this entire video to me is just so wholesome it made me smile.

From the last video let me just say, being able to have all the species you’ve introduced already breed is already a great sign that you’ve tooken your time to create a great home for them, like it was meant to be
This is some of the most relaxing and interesting paludarium content I have ever seen. I've seen your videos at least half a dozen times already and I can't get enough. I love seeing all the animals breed and become part of the ecosystem. I can't wait to see the next update and see what else gets added to the tank.
Wow, I'm really impressed. Plan to set up a multi species paludarium in future. From the beauty and vigorous health of this set up, clearly it can be done. You have done it exceedingly well. This is absolutely mesmerising. Amazing watching from build to now having its own ecosystem which I could spend hours watching. So many times I see some nice tank builds but they often put too many goldfish in a small space when goldfish actually do require a big space to thrive. Seeing all these creatures in this tank thriving, living harmoniously & having babies is proof that you having really thought thoroughly about all the creatures & their natural habitat. Love the information that you also provide too.
Rich biodiversity. Your active ecosystem is both functional and beautiful. Great work! 😃
