I missed this and really enjoyed it. Not much of a Winter hiker but I do enjoy Winter camping. Car camping, tent camping and I want to try hot tent camping next. Do you and the fam camp in Winter or just day hikes? ❄️

I have only winter backpacked one time and it was with a couple of girlfriends! I’d love to do it more, maybe when my kids are a little older!

@@Haileyoutside Definitely. There’s a learning curve and with the kiddos-well, it’s a lot! I have to say I don’t enjoy snowshoeing. X-country skiing is more my jam. If you hike the Sierra (I do), micro spikes or medium duty crampons are a must. Nothing worse than losing your footing.❄️
