You really explain matching furniture. I follow a few interior designers on KZread and you explained it better than anyone.

Thank you so much!
Sis, love your vibe and aesthetic. Love seeimg woc in the game. May I suggest a rethink of the music and music levels? It's giving dissonant vibes. Your style and presentation are higher end elegant but the music feels trippy underground club. Harder to hear you. IMHO. For what it's worth. A fan.

@@jennadmorrow You're lovely and gracious. I checked out more recent videos to learn more an about your brand. I noticed the music more in line with your brand. As a retired TV producer, also woc, the best ones were with no music, just you and the audience. Great job. Wishing you wonderful success. Peace.
Nice tips, but the audio is not good and the music makes it worse.

I really loved your Incisive insights on design and especially your fine points like hanging art at 57 inches from the floor. Also your take on not matching furniture in the room of the same color .Really grateful to you for sharing your bounty of infinite knowledge. Will be grateful to you if you let me know if wall trims ( hdhmr moldings ) are an in concept or a dated concept as someone Ive consulted has suggested moldings on the walls of the drawing room .
Great design tips!

Hey, thanks for watching. Normally I don't reply to these comments about coffee table books but I keep seeing them online so I figured I'd reply. When it comes to design, a room should always contain elements that demonstrate the homeowner's interest. A coffee table book is usually one of those elements. Someone choosing what subject/topic their coffee table book is isn't a design mistake or flaw. It's simply their interest. So while I appreciate your thoughts, someone adding what they genuinely like to their space is not a design mistake.
This vid is 10 months old so I really hope you've upgraded your audio equipment since then.
Love the video but the music is grating and the audio echoes. Love the content though ❤

Thank you for this feedback! I'll make an updated version in 2024 now that I've improved my audio since I made this one.
Thank you for not using the "matchy-matchy" phrase and explaining why not (because it looks flat and one dimensional).

Matchy-matchy makes me cringe, it doesn't teach anything.
These are all no-brainers that have been around forever on so many channels.

I absolutely CANNOT STAND MIXED MATCHING furniture. My furniture needs to be a family. All interior decorators say the same thing and never take into consideration people who like matching sets.

I do believe for a space to look designed, it needs depth which mixing furniture gives you but I always say do what makes you happy in your home. ❤

Don’t put plant pots on books ! You’ll damage the book - (also then you can’t read the book.)
