New Jalpaiguri Shatabdi doesn't matches with WDM 3. It always needs the aggressive, "The EMD Beast" WDP 4 Without WDP 4, this train seems as normal train because this train gets it's aggressive look with WDP 4 only
No matter how much people are crazy about WAP - 4/5/7 etc., but nothing can be compared to WDP 4D. Its aircraft like sound during acceleration is a treat to hear and feel.

At that time hwh njp section was not electrified. Generally wdp4 loco from Siliguri haul njp Shatabdi currently wap7.
