I think of the hypercars the Glickenhaus looks the draggiest which won't be great for top speed down the mulsanne but hopefully the big rear wing will mean that through the final ish sector around by Indianapolis and the Porsche curves the 007 won't have to lift as much as the other cars which may be it's advantage, The Toyota's will be the best out of the lower speed corners though because of their hybrid system. Idk, but I really hope Glickenhaus will be competitive. Oh also on the positive side the Pipo engine that the 007 has got has been downtuned from it's original power output which should make it extra reliable compared to the other hypercar engines which would be running at full power the whole time

@@pastalover2757 Monza's got some pretty long straights and it seemed reasonably fast there. I can't see them lasting the full 24 hours so early in their development, but they'll be the team I'm cheering for in Hypercar!

@@pastalover2757 I think the Glickenhaus would have better chances of winning at Le Mans if the hypercars he used are hybrids. The Glickenhaus did good but it was slower than the other hypercars and they had lots of counter-steering, not to mention the turbo lag ruined them but Glickenhaus did great for 1st timer in 24h of Le Mans.

I hope this wonderful car in a racing game soon

that, and for having such a consistent and strong run in the 709. And all respect to James Glickenhaus for honest and to the point responses at the interviews. A down to earth man, and team and I think they have an exciting future.

Perhaps the guys at Glickenhaus didn't heed the old saying that when someone assumes you're stupid, it's better to not say anything and prove 'em wrong than to run your mouth and prove 'em right. In my eyes, sim racing is NOT meaningless BS, there are tons of people who make a killing doing that. Hell, I wish that I myself were good enough to do something like that... But, Glickenhaus shouldn't have even said that, either that or they should've been more specific about WHO or WHAT they were talking about.

One of the best looking racing cars in long time! And looks fast too..

If the braking inputs are accurate, I'm surprised the wheels are not locking up, considering these cars have no abs.

You have a point, but these brakes can be very strong+the downforce and weight helps too. I did notice the brake inputs in race were a bit off tho, so who knows.

at very high speeds locking up is impossible due to the speed at which the wheels are turning so its very probable that he's applying full brakes.

@@jaiganticpooey3012 Teething troubles. Brakes were overheating the entire race, you could see the plumes of carbon dust when dumas chucked it into the escari ( excuse spelling) . They look to be playing the long game though, I think they are going to do well at Lemans.

finally, a motorsports series that doesn't show the brake pedal as an on-and-off switch. (cough cough, I'm looking at you, f1)

This car showed awesome pace in Monza do I think they could have won maybe but that car sounds awesome and I hope they win in Le mans

On the subject of brakes I think they need to close those huge vents on the arches a wee bit to get a more directed airflow into the rotors. All that open space might actually pull cooling air away from the brakes not push it in.

LMP1 is Hypercar too, only Alpine has this type of car. Glickenhaus has got LMdH like Toyota. The LMP1 should be as fast as this team. :)

Took me half the lap to realise those were tear-offs on the windscreen, not dirty streaks from a bad wiper. :D

Please add a better viewing interface when watching the race, showing more clearly driver names next to their respective car brands and race numbers. Imsa's interface is miles ahead of yours

Pro tip: don't participate in enough races to get your car's performance properly balanced so it performs the best in it's class for the 24 hours of le mans. 👍🏻

Those throttle/brake graphics is a joke, have them showing the actual inputs in real time or don’t have them at all. Nice onboard video though👍

It's ugly but it appears to be quite fast
