* KEEP EYES, EARS, NOSE AND MOUTH OUT OF THE WATER AT DEEP CREEK HOT SPRINGS*
The Hot Springs contain a rare and sometimes fatal disease called primary amoebic meningoencephalitis.

"Birds Only Beyond This Sign". It is amazing that birds in the San Diego area know how to read posted signs.

It is possible that some birds are able to read better than some humans!
Born and raised in Encinitas/ Carlsbad and you definitely hit the nail on the head with these. It Kinda feel s like you giving out all the secrets spots we'd go for some peace and quite.
i’ve never been the outdoorsy type, but have definitely wanted to visit quiet, nice places like this with family. thank you so much for such a great and informative video!
Annie's canyon! Was lucky enough to visit here a few years back when my daughter was about 2 years old and she dusted me through that narrow canyon because she was so small and then I helped her climb that ladder to the top. One of the first cool adventures I did with her. Was great to see it again!

Deep creek hot springs is pretty awesome. I've hiked down to them twice. If you have a 4wheel drive vehicle there's a closer place you can park without having to pay Bowen Ranch but the fee isn't much and totally worth it.

@@InformationOasis I believe so. And I almost forgot, my favorite area from my old drive to work, Elfin Forest, there's a parking area in the reserve and a hiking area in there. I loved driving through there, so peaceful and beautiful

Everywhere is different and has its good and bad points that we have to get used to. I like snow, but not sure I would want to live where it snows a lot.

Hi. It’s very irresponsible not to mention the amoebas that live in the deep creek hot springs. If you get that water in your ears, nose, eyes, mouth, you could die. Multiple people have died from going into that water not being aware of the unique amoebas that live there.
@Gian4o8

Thanks, it was mentioned not to put your head in the water, but it could have been said stronger. I added in the description not to get water in your ears, nose, eyes and mouth!

@@InformationOasis I was stating it because it’s such a tiny number. Almost like telling someone not to drive to a nice place because the rate of death for driving is much higher than going to this spring 😆. I think a lot of people are illogical and you don’t have to post that.

Hi. Its very irresponsible to actually not watch the video when he said not to dip your head in the water and then accuse him of being irresponsible.
Why would you even tell people about these places,just to get some likes.next time you go there you’ll be pissed because it’s packed with people

@@ripemm5737I get it, I live in the mountains, places that have been disclosed have become crowded places with trash, graffiti and even feces, at times people make illegal camp fires even during fire bans. We locals are left cleaning the mess all this for likes. SMH. Yeah these places belong to everyone however they shouldn’t be everyone’s toilet, absolutely disgusting.
It would be really nice to split this video into chapters. I believe they’re generated automatically.
