On the self-judging, this might affect you in things you cannot even imagine. I generally am very harsh with myself, because I'm studying particle physics, and I have to keep myself motivated and judge myself when I'm wrong, to improve. The tricky part is, I've had depression for years, and when I do even the most lighthearted things, being harsh haunts me. For instance, I used to be very good at some videogames, and now, I play a new videogame, and get demotivated when I do things bad at it, as if I could magically know all the mechanics of a game I recently just started, and want nothing but to excel at it . . The idea was to be harsh with myself, in order to finish Physics university, because I was depressed and didn't have the mental strength to go on even though I wanted it, now the tables have turned in my mind, and it's difficult to control, and enjoy some simple things :/ Anyways, thank you for your videos Psych2Go

I can relate to this too. I have my lectures in online classes and assignments based on them. It's like the schedule is fixed. Wake up, prepare for online classes, sit in online classes, eat lunch, finish assignments, go to tuition and rest till I recover. It's exhausting and I hate it. I have a LOAD of work and I just can't help but hate myself even for the mistakes that I didn't make. I never get to enjoy things as I used to do. Hope it gets better tho. Also I hope you are fine btw

I never realized that I was seeking for companionship in my favorite TV show characters. I also didn't allow myself to see that I get too absorbed into what I'm watching. And usually because of pressure and stress, I'm afraid to manage my emotions. But it doesn't change the fact that I really enjoy being with my fictional characters. And that they remind me of the parts of me inside that I actually like and admire. They inspire me to be much better in the face of fear and wrath. I know that the person who watches those characters believe in themselves to do what can be put right after all. I know there's a much deeper sense of belief oneself, and it's like it's materialized on the screen. But in the end, those characters on the screen are already you, you just gotta give them a right chance to take on life. I'd like to believe that they'll always be beside me when it counts, whether it's imaginary or not they allow me strength, and that strength is enough for me to move forward.

And when I see people having good times with their family or great wages as an adult with savings money. Makes me extremely envious and jealous. I'm slowly working on it, but as I get older it's getting worse and it's outgrowing my growth and work. If anyone has gone through the same thing please tell me some tips. You just find people who you feel cool with despite your varying backgrounds because they have more to them then just a fancy things they consume and they care for who you are not what you got or find people with similar backgrounds but who outgrew that poor people( in mental meaning) culture. Source : my own experience. I mean life is not fair and people are not equal that is the reality but we should focus on living it rather than looking on other people otherwise we will waste our presence comparing ourselves to someone else. Speaking of comparison that is why i withdrew from social networks they all make people compare themselves to each other and can give you a bad behavioural habbits.

look in other sectors of your life that you feel rich in, could be rich in love (with a SO or friends), rich in experiences (seeing both the highs and lows of life, having an abled body) or rich in knowledge and understanding (through access of higher education and intuition). I come from a similar boat and focusing on the abundance of my life rather than the lack is more fulfilling. Make more space for your strengths instead of your anxieties.

1:20 LOOK THERES BENSON OM THE SHELD AND A LMANBERG FLAG ON THE WALL ANNNDDDD A RANBOO POSTER TOO I LOVE IT 2:03 Technoblades flying/on the floor flat plus his is on the bed! Stay safe techno... 😭 2:58 Plilza Minecraft is in the corner, next to the blue blob with clout glasses (which is George) there is Wilbur! Under Philza technoblade is there. On the other corner, ranboo is there kinda hiding. (The purple and white) Under ranboo is tubbo, with the horns. The white on on the bottom is dream. 4:47 MORE BABY BENSONS ON THE SHELF THIS TIME THEY ARE CUTER UWAHHHH 5:02 ANITHER BENSON ON THE BED! There's also a fire in the background of the window, so that would either mean the moment Wilbur blew up Lmanberg, or the nukes that belong to Tubbo, or just tommy blowing up things, or it's a #saveturkey moment. Seriously! Turkey is in danger too. 5:48 probably the saddest one yet, the blob in the room is technoblade, and the blob entering the room is tommyinnit. It's sad because Philza, Mumza (of the dead), Wilbur, Tommy, and Techno were really close like a family. It's like they've completely changed, like for example Wilbur became so different when Phil killed him after the blow up of Lmanberg. (The next blob is tommy and Wilbur in the back) 6:05 very similar to the example I said above, Revivebur completely changed. This is them in the future. (6:32 is a Harry Potter reference! Dobby was the elf in the chamber of secrets. Very good series but I'm pretty sad it ended 😢) THESE WERE ALL DSMP THINGS I FOUND BTW IF UR CONFUSED

On number 5, change and progress is often a spiral. It can feel like you’re putting in lots of effort to change, only to go in circles, but enough of those circles pass and you can look back to see that you have truly made progress in a direction you want to go, however slow it may be. In my personal experience, this especially applies to the five stages (or cycle) of grief, as well as overcoming trauma.

To add something to the comparison thing, I've once heared the saying: "Comparison is the thief of joy". When thinking about it, it makes totally sense! If, for example, a sports game like football or cricket is played without points, it removes the pressure you otherwise would feel to win the game. That aside, this video has again opened my eyes and motivated me! =)

But have you tried talking to him about this, it can be hard but, ask him why he does that and tell him to stop, let him understand that ur feeling annoyed and irriated when he does that, that sounds good? Hope things get better with the two of you, and if he didn't listen and still laughed at you,...just try to ignore him as much as possible, ur stuck with him anyway sadly😥

I definitely judge myself way too harshly. I often make a lot of the same mistakes. I have a lot of really intrusive, unwanted and horrible thoughts that make me question who I am. I also often act on my emotions instead of controlling myself. This leads me to doubt that I’ve changed and makes me think that I am still the same horrible person I once was and I start to doubt myself. I am very happy that I am not the only one who goes through this. I will use this video to help me better understand how to fight these issues.

I was self criticizing myself too much and never thought that i could actually change anything Then i met a girl which 6 years younger than me she touched my heart like no one ever did I was suicidal before her, i knew my life is ruined and can’t stand to it if i never met this girl I’d probably be dead now we broke up as friends knowing that our relationship can’t go on with people around us She gave me hope that no one can give the love i felt I realized i was never loved by someone before her. It’s my word to her that i will keep living and met her sometime in future maybe as lover or a friend. My point is never put yourself away from people humans are meant to be social that’s why we have tongue There’s always someone waiting for you to share feelings with you even if not as a lover but as a friend. One person can change your whole perspective of life.

Loki…This show felt like a huge part of my life looong before it even started. I lived my days thinking about it and motivating myself to push thru, because my beloved character is getting his own show! A character who made me feel happy again and pulled me out of never ending sadness and anxiety, who i proudly call " a part of my personality" is getting his show. And now, when it got out and ended…it does affect my life still, but i'm not sure if positively or it's starting to drain me. Thing that once started as a fun ride turned into a fight. Fight with many, many thoughts and feelings. Getting harassed on social medias for liking it, and, my worst fear: starting to get colder to thing that was my source of happiness, light of my life, at some point. I thought to myself i simply could NOT stop loving loki or show, my life would again feel miserable and lightless, i will be sad again. Loki felst like that straw, the only straw that was stopping me from drowning in the deep waters, but now i'm afraid to recognise that maybe it's what actually stopping me from being happy again? I'm stil afraid to let it go. But, i think i will find a way from it. I hope, at least.

Guys remember, due to bitterly social media, it’s easy for people to call you names and get away with the mask of anonymity... A tragic yet melancholic truth. But that means we are not used to positivity much, so we often overlook these positive things that you want to have but always pass due to your thoughts holding you back. Go do what you feel! Not what you thought because someone or something... If you wanna eat, go eat! If you want to go somewhere in life, work towards it. It’s ok to have steps or batches but progress is progress! If you want to be happy, weird way to say this, but; Just embrace that life is gray, not black and white. Things depend on YOU. You don’t need them. Whatever that makes you happy truly, keep close to it! Spread this message to other people in need!
