I heard a security expert say that the word "no" is the end of conversation when a man says it and the beginning of the negotiation when a woman says it. Society has conditioned women to need to come up with explanations for many things.

Women are part of the society, the issue is some people say no when they clearly want to do it but are embarrassed, shy or scared to do it, doesn't necessarily have to be in the dating scene, in general it's important to use the word "No" correctly, we had to go as far as studying body language and facial expressions because of it, I'm sure on the dating side men are creeps than yes only a fucking idiot continues after a no is clearly said, but when it comes to something like, being cold, mad, bored, wanting to leave or being hungry people tend to say no just to not bother anybody.

@@coolbreeze5683Women have far more neurons allocated to being sentries. The brain traffic is lateral in women’s brains more than men. Men have more synapses going front to back in each brain hemisphere. There is not as much crosstalk between hemispheres, generally. The earlier comment about the micro validations and social cues is far more feminine. Look up the halo effect. Only 1/10 even consider what others are thinking about. Expectations of others isn’t controllable. Consider transactional and the taboo-hypergamy. The unconscious measures of reproductive health. The big thing is getting to know oneself and controlling what is controllable. She says forgive yourself. Learning the lesson and moving on, and forgiving others key to some contentment because life has no bearing on fulfillment. It’s a mindset.

I realized just this moment that I experience and sense motherly energy from you. Losing mother at a young age, I missed out on a lot of sensitive and emotional aspects of life, and no wonder when I found your video for the very first time few years ago, it stuck with me. It feels like you're the feminine soothing-supporting energy that I missed out on as a teenager. I'm 21 now, still gullible, naive and slightly confused but at least my gap of motherly love has been filled in this-video-that-video and that gives me peace, as well as courage to move on to becoming a good man and later on a great man. Thank you for what you do, and how you do!

As a guy I can relate to these habits. Normally I wouldnt post a comment, but I felt compelled to do so simply because you said that this was a conversation, which made me want to chime in because I like the idea of "having a conversation", which may be due to your videos with Nathaniel Drew. It's just funner and livelier that way, instead of having somebody tell you this is this, and that is that, its more than meets the eye and has many layers in it. After all, one habit may be effective for one person, but for another it may not be the best option. I tend to be very hard on myself, so much so that I dont realize it until I give myself time to ponder and think that I treat others more kindly than I do to myself, so the 6th habit hits me. The 3rd habit also hits me, because I often compare myself to others (I.E Relationships, Career, Life Experiences, and the like); I've gotta remind myself that I'm following my own journey/adventure with its own set of unique set of circumstances. And that is my "normal", not the "normal" that is crafted by mainstream society. Often times these comparisons lead to my own self negative-talk loops, which are hard to get out off. I will stop here in an attempt to not over explain my thoughts, as I tend to make lengthy replies/texts, and also to serve as a buffer for my own privacy as well. I hope this helps whoever happens to stumble upon and read this, may y'all have a lovely night/day.

Hi Lana 👋, I love that I get to start today with getting more big sister advice from you! 😆 Just like anyone who can relate, I’ve also crossed paths with people who expect me to justify, argue, defend, and explain myself from the decisions I make for myself to the way I live my life. But now, I feel at peace knowing that there are people out there who validate “no” as a full sentence, and that’s all it takes to make yourself clear with your boundaries and what you prioritize in life. Sending you lots of love!!! ❤️❤️❤️🤗

To "forgive yourself": the smartest people even did most-likely the most errors. And it's also ok to do errors more than once, because Albert Einstein didn't say that people who do the same mistake again and again are stupid, he said that doing the same, but expecting a different result is crazy. As extension to the last point, it really helped me to accept what I can't change. One of these things is the past. But also other people belong in there. Life will teach you what you can change and what not, just keep your eyes open and don't gaslight yourself (i.e. by thinking "Nah, I could have changed him").

The random Tuesday look is so real. And men don't fall in love with a woman they have not seen in a random Tuesday look. It doesn't mean men want to look for those flaws to reject women, quite the opposite. Sometimes we find those peculiarities charming and enjoyable. But we need to see those Random Tuesday looks, we need to see the real woman. If a man is not wanting to see them, he is not interested in anything deeper, if you don't let him see them, maybe he is kind of superficial and he will be disappointed. That is the reason hook-ups don't work, those men are not seeing the real woman, those men don't want the real woman, just the image woman presented for the party. The real woman may be rejected the next day or the next month just because he never got to know her, either for negligence or for occultation.

In my generation (I’m 34) we don’t talk about self-pleasuring openly as if we had no healthy shame. I think the normalisation of it is unhealthy for society, soon people will be doing nothing else. Sex has already become such a widely spread topic. In the past, it was a private matter and I think that’s beautiful.

What really helped me see my body as normal was realizing that I am an organic creature, an expression of life and nature, and that every aspect of my body tells a story. I am no different from the forest, nor from the galaxy, since, like them, I am constantly changing. I am life and I harbor life too.

And I think these kind of videos its always or 99.9% about oneself, when we talk about hurt its always about others, and none is a saint, we all have hurt each other and oneself can be the most selfish person but living in denial thanks to all the love yourself trend!.

Hello Lana, I would like to speak about the last part, forgive yourself. Here is my story. I had a girlfriend long time ago and we broke. For about 20 years I lost contact with her but five years ago somehow we got in touch on internet and went to Barcelona to visit her. We spoke for almost 2 hours and that was normal except that you may notice you have a questions how she is, how looks now, what is her state. Well, everything quite normal. But a year later she committed suicide. Not related to our meeting but mental health. Is bad to say that about me, but I'm a good one noticing when people are having hard times. But I failed with her. I didn't realise nothing. Yes, I was not my fault but sometimes I feel sad because I couldn't do nothing. You don't want those things to happen around you but it happens. I always say that you are here to learn and for me now I take more time to scan the one in front not because I will act as a hero, but taken more care about the one close to me. It will not take time to help a friend. And life is wonderful, I'm very happy in this world. And yes, I already forgive myself. Thanks Lana for opening this door. You are a good person. Bye!!!
