Facts

I am a plus size woman and the whole segment was just bad. All the clothes were ill fitting. I look to this show to be an example of what to do. I'm disappointed. You've had other plus size segments before and they we're great. I don't know what happened but please don't do it again. It really fed to the thought that so many plus women have " they don't have it to fit me." the worst!

I agree. Those clothes look like they were picked by a 5 year old. If anything they highlight the worst parts of a plus size body. Tracy the "stylist" needs to find a job she's actually good at

Fabulously plus, I just left a comment and saw yours right after. I am taking a sewing class and we have learn how to make our OWN patterns. I am not telling you to start sewing. I am just telling that some expert seamstress will do this for you and then you show an image of something you want and 2 fittings later VOILA! I have ditch my collection of Vogue, Burdas… patterns and now am sewing with confidence. In the class we have women of all shape and we all look smarter with something that fits well. At the end it is not more expensive because we sew only quality fabrics and take care properly. ciao

Sylvie Vicenza I don't have time to sew. I know my body well enough to dress it well. If I am critical of any thing it's having been a plus size woman and knowing what looks good and what doesn't on me. If you are giving me suggestion there's no need because when necessary I can afford a tailor. And back to the ill fitting dresses the segment was still bad.

Was about to agree, but then the swearing of GOD. It's not necessary and is damaging to your soul.

I liked all of the outfits and the concept of them... I'm plus size and went on a cruise last year couldn't even think of a style that I liked.. This showed me some styles i could try for my up coming cruise.. Awesome.

Make sure you think about your underwear. The ladies all were wearing bra and knickers. An all in one spanx effect needs to be worn.

Several of the dresses do not fit the models properly creating a much less flattering look. Not a good example for a plus size audience.

The stylist who dressed these gorgeous women should be fired. Not one of these dresses fitted correctly and they all looked awful. Surely you could have found better dresses in Canada?

Too long. Dragging on the floor!

I liked the 3rd woman's dress more conservative look. 5th look was good. The last dress long white was pretty.

The only outfit that I liked was the one that the woman who hosted the segment was wearing. All of the others were I'll fitting and did not accentuate anyone's body in a good way. What a disappointment.

All of these outfits are Ill fitting, either too tight, too long, tent like, the wrap dress is a wrinkled, too short mess. All Horrible.

Ok, so you all did plus size for formal occasions. Now what about every day looks, casual wear, sporty wear, sexy dresses, Walmart or Target wear? The list can go on.

Yes Cityline keep up the good work. Always good to see that you usually have 1 model that is plus size in your regular fashion segments. This was special to see a plus size only segment... need more of them along with different shapes, whether thin, regular or plus size. Thanks for embracing the real woman.

Absolutely. It's required!! Especially once you reach a certain size. Don't step out of the house without a girdle on such a dress.

Yeah most were unflattering but i like that they are bringing out real oversized women with normal oversized bodies , loved that .. except i wudn't wear a girdle too

Omg all the models were gorgeous

These ladies rocked these looks!

It was a struggle to keep watching after the first model came out with the bodice held with a safety pin that was showing. The least you could have done was tacked it together or used double sided tape that allowed it to properly drape. This was discouraging; it highlighted the problems full figured women have with getting flattering clothes that fit.

Nicely done! I like all the choices. Loved the red jumpsuit and peach wrap.

I loved everything but the navy maxi and pink handkerchief dress

Although some of the clothing could have been a better fit I enjoyed the segment overall and thought the styles were beautiful. I ADORED Tracey's dress. Anyone know where to get it?

Beautiful girls with diverse bodies but the fitting on those dresses 🤔🤔 I want to think they weren’t fitted prior to wearing this, but everyone and I mean everyone must tailor their garments if you’re buying them off the rack 🤷🏻‍♂️

The second dress while lovely still appears to tight around the mid section. And the peach wrap dress is ill fitted on top...messy.

Most of the comments here were very disappointing to me. I was hoping everyone would be talking about the confidence a woman has to have to pull off some of these looks. Instead, it was just criticism about ill-fitting clothing. When you're big, it's hard to hide the body issues. I thought that maybe the dresses were chosen because they are beautiful and that we shouldn't worry so much about hiding our bodies, but celebrating them, regardless of the lumps and bumps. After reading the comments here though, it just reinforces my feeling that I am judged by what I wear so I shouldn't try to wear anything too form-fitting or tight....not because I don't have the confidence to pull it off, but because I would be made fun of or judged. I think an attitude adjustment by society is needed.

I love, love, love this video. Help me out alot. And the models looked amazing.

I think some quality undergarments were in order here. The wrap dress did not flatter her body at all. Just looked like curtains.

I absolutely cannot believe they sent these lovely women out there looking like that. Ill-fitting clothing, need shapwear, pins everywhere. That pink wrap dress was a hot mess. Great concepts but the ball was dropped bigtime!

You showed me that my instincts were correct as to what style I need to find for my nephew's wedding in August. While I am more "regular" sized than your models, I still need to wear plus sized clothing, which for the most part is woefully lacking in style and often limited to black, navy and other dark colors.

The Outfits were Nice and All the Model's Looks Beautiful.The fit is what messed up the fashion.The Clothes fitted like they had no Good Supportive Foundation On Underneath.

The way a woman walks does wonders to improve how she appears in clothes. You could be wearing a nice outfit, but if you clomp into a room, the effect will not be good. Many women need a class on how to walk with elegance and confidence. The first lady in blue needed a better bra.

Lysana7. The 1st lady wasn't Apple shape just had a little more in the midsection. The 2nd lady was apple shape but with curves & non of them had as much weight as the next... Let's be honest, true plus size women have a gut or more. That 4th one was horrible..

I´m not too sure, but I think most of them were apple shaped... because they all had skinny legs, but a volumptious middle :) P.s.: I hope you mean that you didn´t like the 4th dress, not the woman ... because, I think they´re all beautiful (although also not a big fan of the dresses) :) I just wished they showed a bit more different body shapes... but okay, it´s still cool, that they did a segment on plus size at all ... I stop complaining now :)

What happened to the underwear?

The first dress was for a taller woman, the second was to tight mid section, third one nee to be hem, fourth one is just terrible, fifth one (the red jumpsuit) is nice and fits well and last the white dress needs to be hem. I would have love that they talk about bringing them to the seamstress to rectify what is not right. BETTER: have a dress made with your measurement. Have a pattern made to your body and you will always look sharp what ever shape you are.

If you look at the sleeves they are not finishing at the proper place. The lady presenting them was talking about wearing them longer... I thought she was just wanting to hide the fact that the dress was not the right size.
