I'm an Auburn guy pulling for LSU here. I was struck by what the announcer said about the crowds for the weekend...LSU having the 2nd largest crowd. Auburn also had a stellar crowd with the largest crowd ever on Sunday vs the Hogs. Wonder if other SEC schools are experiencing the same. Anyway...WAR EAGLE and Geaux Tigers.

Fantastic series. They could meet in the CWS again this season.

Athletes have become classless. I understand having a strong competitiveness but that is no reason for the classlessness that is so often displayed by athletes. LSU’s coach needs to focus on his team’s pitching, hitting and fielding as none of them are good at the moment.

The University of Florida is just a trashy school, and in most sports. Especially baseball and football. Why? I don't know because they suck in both sports. 1 National Championship in baseball and only 3 National Championships in football. Football team hasn't been relevant for 16 years.

Right...that's why Florida is known nationally as a top athletic university. Olympic sports 🎖✅️ 261 SEC championships, most of any SEC school 🏆✅️ only SEC school with triple crown status 🏆🏆🏆✅️. Just because you can't win one sport like football every year or even in a decade in a tough conference, doesn't change the school's overall status. Over 132 universities play D1 football and only like 31 have won the natty so don't act like it's just a non-chalant thing to do. LSUs last natty in baseball before last year was 2009 so it even took them awhile because it's not easy

Last I checked the LSU player started it by taunting after making a homerun and they were still down 6-2 after that homerun. The amount of trash talking in college baseball is crazy. Little league, travel ball and high school isn’t much different. Been that way for probably 10 years now. Not going to stop either till parents and coaches put an end to it. But our society is going down the toilet so I seriously doubt it will ever happen.

You are correct and UF has a few that have been guilty of trash talking his season, but in Cag's defense, solo HR guy needed to be called out for his antics. Which brings up another problem I have with a lot of players today. Everything is about them. The late solo shot for example. Your team is about to lose the game and one run isn't going to change that. Yet, the hitter felt the need to show boat after hitting the HR. Reminds me of the DB who's been torched all game and his team is down by three scores in the 4th, yet he feels the need to dance all over the place after he finally breaks up a pass. So many today are not team players and seem to have no situational awareness.

@@321gates I agree. Maybe it’s my age. I am 50. Played college ball in the early 90’s. Nobody, NOBODY ever did stuff like that. Not to mention the trash talking. So I’m not sure how or what caused this change. Has to be parents my age or maybe a decade younger than me that have allowed it. I have a boy in college and high school varsity playing ball and they both say it’s just what most guys do now. They hate it too but they are encouraged by other teammates, not to mention 90% percent of their teammates trash talk. Maybe I’m officially an old fart.
