👀 ABOUT THIS VIDEO
Everyone has those slow days. Those mornings or middle of the day time slots. Those Mondays and Tuesdays. Everyone in the food and beverage industry has felt them. But just because other people are experiencing it and you're experiencing it, doens't mean we can't do something to fix it.
A restaurant business is dynamic and requires you to be creative in marketing. Another way to increase sales on slow days is to hold specific promotions during those times. It is exactly why so many restaurants rely on Happy Hour to bring in crowds before the dinner rush. You could also have targeted promotions on Mondays or other slower periods at your shop. The thing you need to be cautious about is not overdoing it with promotions - or else you'll train your customers to only come when there are discounts. You must strategically use promotions to bring in new customers so they get a preview of your food and lure them to come back during normal times - that is the ultimate goal.
So if you're a restaurant owner or food and beverage brand owner, and are looking to increase your restaurant sales, restaurant marketing tips, restaurant marketing strategies, how to run restaurant promotions, looking to add new tactics to your restaurant marketing plan, or how to run a restaurant successfully, keep on watching!

This has been really helpful! Thank you so much! We are trying to bring more people in to convert them into regulars, our small bistro relies on it! Hong Kong’s f&b industry is tremendously suffering… even places with Michelin stars like sushi saito has only 2 customers for dinner service… everyone prefers spending money in shenzhen or fly abroad cus it’s less costly😢 anyway I really love your content! I used to watch your content for my cafe which I closed, now I am watching again to help my partners bistro. Thank you again for all your knowledge and sharing. Much appreciated.

Hi Wilson. Have covered the topic of how to cost your food? Just wondering, what determines the cost of a meal serving? The protein? For instance steak is item that determines the cost of the meal. Or you cost each item of the meal sparately.

Can you make a video about how to establish a restaurant/cafe business that doesn't need to be watched by you (the owner) all the time? I mean I know that you have to make sure that everyone knows their task and somehow make sure that everything runs "automatically".. but how can I establish that? Are there specific steps I need to follow?

Well I would give you a tip if you're business is doing well and you can afford some good security and when I talk about security I mean cameras that won't break after one year (actually happens a lot) and if you're using homebase for your employees then you are actually doing fine. Just be careful to not enter to the world of credit card tips too fast since you have to control your employees for that too. Yeah it actually happens the customer forgets to give their tips and doesn't skip to the receipt and some workers have the guts to give themselves tips . That will not only cost you a employee your business will also be less trustworthy in the eyes of your clients. Do also check if your employees are taking care of their location.
