Yes, just what I was going to comment about myself. I live alone and I don't want to cook a big meal for myself, but I would love some chicken or beef every once in awhile. I can divide the leftovers in freezer safe Tupperware and have a decent meal later!

I also am on oxygen and unable to use a naked flame so a slow cooker is great for me❤ 😊 ❤

I’m 63 years old and have been cooking for most of those years but I never saw the paper towel/grease trick. Thank your mom for us because it’s a great trick! I’ve told many of my friends.

Oh if you love crock pot pot roast, try it in the instant pot!!! Literally dump and it cooks in just 1 hr and has the perfect fall apart buttery taste ❤

We use an instapot to cook the meat first. Then put veggies in toward the end of cooking. So good.

been using this same recipe for years and years, my momma calls it the 3 packet pot roast

When using the liners be sure to put at least a half cup of water into the crock under the liner to prevent melting the liner. 😊

It’s always crock pot season in my house. I use it in the summer so I don’t heat up the house with the oven

Made the Chicken Noodle Pasta a couple of days ago; had to tweak the recipe a bit based on the ingredients I had on hand, and I added some frozen green peas with the noodles. It was gorgeous & filling; you are absolutely right about it being full of flavour 😀 I’ll definitely be adding this to my repertoire of slow-cooker meals ❤

Julia, just an idea with the lasagna soup. Add the beef broth after the marinara, use the beef broth to get all the marinara left in the jar. Won't water down the soup(if anyone adds water to the jar). One and done. Love this recipe, will definitely make it, since I do love lasagna so, so much! Thank you! ❤

Julia, Thank you for the vegetarian meal. It looked so yummy. Also, there are a few companies that make veggie substitute crumbles that look like ground beef, so those meals could be made vegetarian too. I'm definitely saving this video. Yup I make vegetarian versions of all her meals just for me (my family isn’t veggie). I don’t mind meat/chicken substitutions. For the taco soup I would use black beans. I think the only meal I couldn’t figure out a substitute here is the pot roast.

I agree! I was thinking the taco or lasagna soup could definitely work with veggie substitute crumbles. Trader Joe's has a pretty decent one I've used as I have a family member who has an intolerance to beef.

I noticed when you were cooking the sausage up for the lasagna soup that all the brown flavorful bits got left behind in the pan. What I do, is add a small amount of whatever liquid I'm using into the pan to scrape up those bits, then add it to the crockpot. That's stuff's too good to let go to waste lol

That video wouldn’t be called dump and go. If you’re looking for something with made from scratch sauces why are you watching a video that clearly isn’t focused on that. If it was a video on 6 healthy non processed crockpot meals then your comment would be rational. Myself and most others are here for the convenience and ease of ability to do relatively little in prep and then come back to something tasty that isn’t completely unhealthy.

Thank you for putting these recipes on youtube in such an easy to follow format! I have been using your recipes for a few weeks now as way to meal prep and save on groceries. This is the first time I've felt that meal prepping has worked for my lifestyle. I alwasy find myself finding it exhausting and unsustainable, but this time feels different. The recipes you share are easy to make and different enough to give me variety without buying and preparing too many ingredients to keep count. My wallet and my tummy thank you :)

I am such a sucker for roast recipes, I've made one similar to yours before and it's so good! They just fall apart in the crockpot. I never thought to put chunks of onion in it but that looks wonderful! I'll have to give that a try. Thanks for another week of meals!

For today's Sunday Dinner I made your shredded chicken and egg noodles. It was fantastic. With all the spices and long cooking it had a deliciously complex layering of flavors. Everyone wanted more. One upgrade, mainly for color, was the addition of one large sliced carrot, microwave cooked in water, drained and added to the chicken during the last hour.This recipe of yours makes a fantastic meal that definitely invites thumbs up and favorable comments. Thanks for a great meal and making me look like a good cook.
