#6 Drilling the borehole (Jojo tank, solar water pump, Zimbabwe village home )
Let there be water on the homestead. We installed the borehole on the homestead. This was a necessity as we struggled with getting water onto the homestead. The borehole is a step towards living off grid as there is no connection to the national water mains. This is also going to make the other bits of the project easier for our contractors when they are onsite.
The homestead is coming together very well.

Great youtube 😅 but please my advice if you are planning on installing septic system please do a thorough survey so that your borehole water won't be contaminated

There is still a lot to do but we can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. We have been building on and off since 2017 doing what we can when we could. So take your time don’t rush is our unsolicited advice 😄. You’ve got the land so that’s good 👍🏿

That is the challenge of wanting your project done whilst you are on the ground. I had one day to go before going back to the uk
