Depend on the setting. Some vamps arent....undead. Their heart still pump the drank blood.

I might watch this film. It looks interesting and I love vampire movies. That fight scene looks absolutely intense and tiring.

It's become cliche in vampire movies that most of what vampire lore says kills vampires doesn't work. But garlic actually does repel mosquitos which are basically tiny vampires.

When I saw the movie, I kinda liked how parts of the fake crying looked more like Abigail was fighting off a grin while interacting with Joey.

This movie was cool

The Kinappers kidnap a little girl not knowing she's their Predator and they are the FOODS xD

That was just gruesome! And that actress is only 15. I assume they used a puppet of some sort for the scene where she’s dancing with the dead body… but all the eerie dialogue would have been her, and I would imagine that the blood she was soaked in was NOT added in post production. So even though it’s makeup or juice or whatever, she’s actually covered in blood! Saying all those creepy lines with that eerie smile on her face! Just absolutely gruesome! Don’t get me wrong - I loved it. I just thought it must have been so intense for the 15y old actress to play that role. 😛

No, usually if they have a decent budget, the fake kind is usually syrup and food coloring - I personally could not do it because anything sticky, I have to wash off or I end up having a panic attack. I cannot stand being sticky and that stuff they use is extremely so. She has more patience then I could if they didn't add it post production which it looks like they used the normal method of red dye food coloring and syrup.

@@Light.the.Darkness It doesn't matter what they used - my point was that it was actually added to the 15 year old actress for her scenes (rather than digitally added in post production). That 15 year old actress had (fake) blood all over her for those scenes. That set was bloodier than the gymnasium in Carrie! :p

It's hard to know who to root for in a movie with all evil people. It's like watching "Renfield", "Don't make a sound", "Let me in" or one of those other movies. You want to root for the girl at first, then you want to root for the kidnapper/murderers, but then you realize there's really no "good people" in the entire movie.

I know right? Kinda makes me want a sequel where something bad happens to Joey and Caleb, and Abigail comes to help. I love twist endings of teaming up with a villain, it shows that people are complicated and not pure evil, no matter how messed up they are

Well, I would say he doesn't look anything like Ted Bundy, but what you saw was the actor, Dan Stevens, playing a psychopath perfectly, and right from the beginning of the movie. He was on a path to becoming a serial killer for sure, regardless of whether he became a vampire or not
