Appearently my phone, and MANY peoples cameras can take clear awesome photos, but these same cameras when pointed at bigfoot, ufo's, and intruders cant take a good photo. Casinos, that need awesome cameras to catch cheaters cant take a good image either... These are bigger mysteries

This comment made me lol until I saw who you are and so I get it. Thom, rigging a digicam with parts that manage store & transmit data is not an ‘advanced’ camera in the sense that its traditional cam capabilities are awesomized. Rly, the thing is a system that handles the super-junk-quality images collected by the cam, and the heart of the system is more in the handling component/s than in the collecting one

Well, if anybody knew anything, they'd know that LaVeyan Satanists (those that follow The Satanic Bible) don't believe in ghosts or anything supernatural (including Satan). Satan is just a symbol to them, not a literal being. These people weren't Satanists in that regard, if they even were at all. Satanist =/= devil worshipper. A basic Google search would show those people, including yourself, that in about two minutes. It's amazing that with all this technology where we can have the vast majority of human knowledge in a few clicks that people are still so ignorant about stuff. There's no excuse. Look it up.

That first one is interesting indeed. Almost looks like she was backing up in a hurry, like she was trying to get away from something. Though there aren't any visible tire gouges in the picture to suggest it being floored the whole time. I would imagine someone in a state of terror -like trying to get away from something- would keep the accelerator pegged until it became clear they needed to flee on foot. Not that my opinion on the matter counts for much, as I'm no expert, just adds to the oddity of the situation.

While a nefarious scenario is definitely possible, it's also possible that she was out there for whatever reason, hit the house and decided to get out of there on foot and accidentally walked out across that lake and found a weak spot and fell in. I'm not one who believes that just because someone does drugs that they're bad people or anything. But I know a lot of people who have done a lot of different drugs and if she was trying crack or some other similar drug that stuff can cause severe paranoia, especially I'm those new to it so if she'd run into that house, instead of thinking clearly, her first thought might just be to get the hell out of there. Hell, I know drunk people who have done the same- ran into a ditch or something and just booked it even though they likely could have gotten the car out.

It's true actually pigs were used to get rid of bodies a long time ago, the movie Snatch has a character named Bricktop in it and he explains it all pretty well (including how many pigs you'd need for an average size man and how long they'd take to consume him). But yeah, that's the point of doing that, so that it can never be corroborated. I both believe and disbelieve the letter at the same time.

"only" having an axe to weigh you down bc you are actually a murderer or sth makes more sense to me, especially considering that there are not only axes out there with handles made out of hard, but very light weight plastic, but even the steel blade could be replaced by a lighter metall

That said, I still really enjoy Lazy and his voice, it is actually a legitimately good voice for horror narration and he knows how to use inflection and timing for effect. I was working at a homeless shelter in Atlantic City in 2006. I distinctly remember the day 3 Vermont State Police detectives showed up inquiring if we'd had a girl matching Brianna's description come through. Unfortunately we had not. The more I read about that case the more it seems she fell in with a bad crowd back in Vermont and was murdered.

The axe man photo scared the living hell out of me. Just the thought of the guy taking the pics coming this close to death and not even knowing it - *so* weird that the man didn't even seem to be hiding really, he was looking out towards the guy! If he'd just decided to run up to him and swing his axe... Man. Bet that guy didn't like the dark after discovering the photo.

I am from Thomaston, Connecticut and we have Leatherman’s cave here! That last photo, is in what today is black rock state park. Everyone always goes hiking up there to check out the caves and tunnels. Also, if you go around dusk and sit in the bigger cave, it gets super cold and creepy, and friends have picked up grunt like EVPs there. It’s so cool that you covered the Leathermans story. Not much is know about him at all, and not many people who have met him are still around to tell their stories about him and their interactions with him. RIP Leatherman!

Lazy Masquerade I can always go over to the archives at the library and see if I can get some other photos and possibly interviews from the local paper. I remember looking into his story back in high school, and there were some articles, with photos, of him and people he stayed with or would break bread with..and I can send them your way if you’d like. His story should be shared and investigated further, because there are a ton of people here that would wanna know more too. Thanks again for shining a light on him ❤️😊

Definitely drugs. The case before, regarding the missing waitress, also seems to be drug-related. I know it's easy to snap back with "but they didn't take the money!" but a girl I went to high school with was murdered during a deal gone bad. Her children were still in the car, unharmed, along with all her cash and belongings. If it's gone bad enough that a murder went down, cash and valuables aren't always a priority.

The home intruder and the axe man are so chilling because they are such a vivid reminder of how close, at any given moment, our mortality is. What if the friend had been home? What if the man on the ship had turned at the wrong moment and startled the man with the axe into action? They both call into question, how safe are we ever really? In our supposedly secured home? Walking alone, or so we think, down a dark hall? How many times in our lives have we been a decision away from the terrifying and we just never knew? Have there been moments where if we had turned around just a litttttle bit sooner, we would have seen someone there? Or if cancelling plans could have meant waking to a nightmare? Truly creepy at a primal level. Well done with this video! Now I just have to convince myself it’s okay to sleep! Lol

I’m willing to bet that there was one or more persons hiding in the car of the girl on case number one. I feel like if someone was hiding in the floorboard of her backseat and popped up when she got going down the road that it startled her and caused her to run off the road and into the house. Or the person told her to drive to the house and she tried to wreck the car into it on purpose as a way of escape hoping the perpetrator would be injured so she could get away. That’s just my opinion though. That’s like my worst fear in the whole world...getting in my car and having someone hiding in it that I didn’t see. That’s why I always check my car by shining my keychain flashlight into the cargo area and backseat before I get in. Cruel world out there these days. Hope they find her.

Your guys theory is the most likely, especially owing someone you don't want to money. Like the movie out of the furnace with woody harrelson who is a hick from a small rural town in a racist part of the states was a meth dealer and just because of association he even killed a guy he didn't want to just for who he was with in the movie translated to real life and even the setting and house its like a scene from a movie literally
