I did the ginger bread man tutorial a looooong time ago, i remember it was on a wiki page...this was on the pre-2.5 user interface...when I was done, I went back to 3D studio max until Blender 2.5!....That old interface was just too insane for me :)

Awesome mate, you're in it for the long run♥️ I remember doing 3DS max 14 years ago, because I really wanted to make a lamborghini. There was this 40 piece tutorial going through it step by step, but since I was young and impatient I stopped, until I found Blender years later

Well, the clickbait of the miniature brought me here ... As someone who used to 100% be in the Blender cult ( and still kinda is ? ), one year in the big industry will humble you on what Blender can do, and especially what it can't. Blender is amazing for solo projects, small team projets, stylised render animations, but if you want to be in the big industry, you'll soon discover Blender's limits ... Stay open to other softwares and keep using Blender in what it's good at and it's gonna be fine !

I think this will fade in the next 5 years, but yes there are limitations. Love blender though♥️
