Fabulous information. I've been semi stuck with my curriculum. When you said.... they have developed it over... YEARS, it made me realize... I'm so far behind. I have many awesome students on italki, but sometimes... I get reviews or responses from parents that I seem to be disorganized. For what I teach, I'm going to give both kid-inspired and off2class a chance. Off2class seems.... more difficult for me as an online teacher to use... because you pay per student. So maybe I don't fully understand how exactly to use it.... but I am going to pay a monthly fee and see how I like it/how I can make it work for my students! But this content alone is GREAT!!!

@@onlineteacherdude1284 Thanks so much! Apologies for so many questions but I was hoping to pick your brain a bit more. I currently teach with VIPKID (levels 1-7) and expect to begin privately with at least 5-10 students in the coming weeks. My main concern is for the lower levels, as I want to ensure the curriculum is fun and engaging for them with songs, interactive functions, etc. For the higher levels I will use these curriculums as well but it will be easier to supplement with reading materials and other resources. Any thoughts? If you do private sessions I would be more than happy to pay for a 30-60 minute call with you. This "private" teaching thing is new to me so I want to make sure I get it right! @@onlineteacherdude1284 Yes I was particularly interested in it because of what looks like so many great photos and facts about the earth, animals and environment (lots of subjects for discussions). I want something for older students and thought this looked like it would appeal to the mature type. There is no FAQ on their site so it's taking time to comb through it- and there's a lot of different programs. I'll let you know if I do purchase any of it!

Thanks so much for this Tim. Very informative and helpful. I really like Off2Class - I just wish they had lessons geared for 8 - 13 year olds, too! My three students who I'm going to be teaching private lessons to are intermediate level, but they are 8 - 13 years old and the content is definitely geared to young adults.

Oh! Easy. So many students in China needing and wanting ESL classes - it was easy to get started because I had so many students who wanted to continue with me. If you're starting from scratch, you can get on Xiaohongshu which is a social media app in China and attract students that way. China's huge with a TON of never-ending students who want classes. Good luck!

Hi Willy! Thanks for your comment, and thanks for the accurate response, Tim! Please feel free to email me, if you like: info@esl-curriculum.com The fee you mentioned is for China Payment processing rolled together with curriculum access. You can also opt for curriculum alone, at the base price Tim mentions in the video. 👍
