1. If a pack of 20 healthy gray wolves fought a fully-grown male grizzly bear in good physical condition, it would depend on what type of fight this is. If it was a realistic fight, the gray wolves would probably flee, as even though they could defeat the bear, some of the wolves will be killed. However, in a hypothetical scenario where they actually fight each other, in my fact-based opinion, the gray wolves will overwhelm the grizzly bear and win about 90% of the time, with many of the wolves dying. 2. Similar case here with a fully-grown male polar bear in good physical condition, but if they actually fight, the gray wolf pack will win 80% of the time, with even more dead wolves next to the polar bear’s carcass. 3. As for the muskox, a large enough pack should be able to take one down. The average, fully-grown male muskox in good physical condition weighs about 950 pounds, meanwhile a pack of 17 gray wolves can take down a 2,000 pound bison. A lone wolf or a small pack will definitely fail, though. 4. As for the American bison, it depends on the context. If it’s a realistic hunt, then yes, even a pack of 20 healthy gray wolves will not attack a fully-grown male American bison in good physical condition, due to the risk of many wolves dying. However, if the wolves are for some reason willing to attack a lone bull, in my opinion, the gray wolves will win 60% of the time, with most of the wolves dead. A healthy adult male bison is powerful enough to defeat a grizzly bear in self-defense, these animals are no jokes. 5. As with a lot of these scenarios, for a fully-grown male Bengal tiger in good physical condition, it depends on the context. A Bengal tiger could probably defeat a small pack of wolves, and against an average pack of wolves, the wolves will win with most of them dying (if neither retreats, of course). However, if it’s a pack of 20 healthy gray wolves, and neither retreat, the gray wolves will exhaust, overwhelm, and defeat the Bengal tiger 100% of the time in my opinion, with some of the wolves dying. 6. With a fully-grown male lion in good physical condition, again, it depends on the context. If it’s a small pack of wolves, the lion will win. If it’s a larger pack of 20 healthy gray wolves, in my fact-based opinion, they will defeat the lion 100% of the time, with a few dead wolves along with the lion.

You would need about 10 mastiffs for them to even have a chance of taking out a male lion and even then, they aren't getting away without losing members. I always hear people saying this and that dogs can kill lions but have never actually seen evidence of it happening. Hyenas are bigger than most dogs and a male lion can take on 30 of them, which there is video evidence of. I think 2 decently sized wolves are killing a mastiff too.
