6.5 m Full Custom Plate Boat!
Walk through video of my new 6.5 m Samurai Plate Boat where I explain all the custom build parts and why I wanted it build like that. Absolute weapon that boat! The boat has a 6 mm bottom and a 20 degree hull, I forgot to mention that.

I'd grind that fuel logo off the water tank or fill it with epoxy and spray paint it. Seems like a needless opportunity for a lot of tears and frustration.
What a weapon of a boat, and great breakdown of all its features and a few personal touches👌🏼
Hey mate. Stoked you're back on the water and what an absolute weapon of a new toy you've got yourself.
Sick boat!! Can’t wait to watch the fishing vids you make with it!! Especially the ones with Briggsy and the boys!!!🤙🏽🔥
Damn, that was long. Glad to see you back, good luck on new adventures 🤜🏻
Holy s..... Dennis! soooo stoked on you're new boat🤩
Possibly the best platey cc I’ve seen!
Dennis is back on track! Yeaaaah! 🤙
Solid bruh!! Can’t wait to see you in action!!🤙🏽
Awesome boat Denny! Enjoy it and make some vids soon! Best regards from Spain! 🎣🎣🎣🎣
Congrats on the new purchase and all the best in the World
Super sick boat!!
I like the layout mate! Very nice
Awesome boat 👏👏
Congrats Denny ! Thats a weapon mate ! Awesome design and layout. Now time to slay some dragons ! YeeeeW.
Looking great. Make sure you only use one anchor this time when camping ashore overnight. Grab an inflatable SUP to use as a tender to get to and from the beach.
@DennisVerreet
Жыл бұрын
There was no way to only have one anchor with currents pushing sideways past the beach. And yes a SUP would be nice, but no room for that when you bring so much fishing and camping gear.
That’s one badass vessel
So nice brah! Cant wait to see some videos! Frothin 👍🤙👊💪🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
good luck, hope the boat will be just the way you wanted
So good to see you and the new boat bro it’s epic I love it as well mate so happy for you and I can’t wait to see first fish. I’m off to Vanuatu in ten or so weeks for another fishing trip there with 3 other mates I wish I could fit the boat in me backpack although we already have a dingy over there this would be insane and I’ll never come home lol
Great video very nice boat😁
Nice now we await those trips

Nice to see that the insurance paid out Denny. That is one hell of a boat you have there. Can't wait to see what the crew get up to with that thing, where is the first trip planned for?

I've loved this build and come back to your channel hoping for more videos, are you going to be doing any more? Would love to know how the boats going and your thoughts after having it for a while now.
Looks a very polished rig you must be stoked, I hope spent a bit more than $39 for decent anchor this time. 🙃👍
Very nice! With so much fuel, freshwater etc does it still have full positive bouyancy?
Wow, that is a weapon. So glad you were able to work through the insurance bulls##t and come out the other side with an amazing boat. Did you win the German lottery in another life before you took up fishing full time? And great to see a Kiwi lure making legend on the boat sponsors. Go OTL!
I just saw a video about the sharrow propeller, looked interesting to me (but I 'm not into boating at all). You might check it out, it seems to have excellent performance and fuel saving depending on rpm up to 75%...

Absolutely lovely boat mate. Who made it for you?
Awesome...
Did Timmy pull your Contender's bung out to get his new boss some work. :) Amazing looking boat
Hey Dennis, glad to see you resolved the insurance issue. Big difference between the contender and this one, how about the aluminum? Do you live now permanent down there in Australia? Good luck with your new rig, tight lines 🙌👊

Hey Lori, I didn't get to test the boat properly yet, but had a test run when I picked it up and later with full tank and 4 people in 25 knot winds and it performed really well. That boat here is an all-round boat as the Contender is just an offshore boat. I'm still on a tourist visa, not permanent yet. I wish!
Awesome boat so glad you didn't go with "The Ferret "
What a beauty! Just saw a video of them making a boat entirely by hand. I believe it is the same people that made your boat. What is the cost?
Hope this one stays upright
Good stuff mate, don't flip this one ;) what length is the motor guide?
Please do a video on the build process itself! I’m sure there would be others like me that want to know how a build like this unfolds. Give us some tips! (Build time, contracts. How many times did you visit the shop during the build. Any issues experienced.)

I didn't film the build, but Timmy Turtle did with his boat from the same company and he will post a video soon. The build was a nightmare to be honest. It was supposed to be a 3.5 month build and then ended up being 10 month instead.

Wow very nice I member that video when your boat sank I love the new boat the only thing I don’t like it that the insides of the live well and storages aren’t coated and painted it’s raw metal n can see all the welds ugh to me that looks ugly and this boats so nice too
@DennisVerreet
2 жыл бұрын
Well, that's just storage and nobody normally sees that and I'm pretty sure that the fish in the live bait tank will have other problems than looking at the welds, haha! . I also didn't want to spend another 10 grand just to have my storage compartments look nice too. I know what you mean though, but you gotta stop somewhere.

I didn’t pay for everything, but if you would have to, you’d be looking at around 150.000.
Did you take any inspiration from The Lateral Line legends on your new boat? I can see similarities. Hope it is the platform to make many great memories for you. I don't think Baden's gf will ever let him go on another one of those trips though! 😄

Klasse Boot - viel Glück damit 🙂 Als selbst Bootseigner würde mich interessieren - was war eigentlich die Ursache, dass das Contender gekentert ist?
@DennisVerreet
