Awesome group and no need to adjust scope is always a plus! Great node and video! Can’t wait to see the 5 shot video of those best groups with this gun!

I just got 500 of those 140 grain ELD Match bullets from Midway, hoping to go shoot some today. My Savage Precision shoots the 140 grain BTHP’s loaded with 40.5 grains of IMR4350 (.035 off the lands) extremely well, 1/4” MOA groups, so I’m hoping to duplicate that with the ELD Match bullets.

My guns both shoot the 140bthp better than the eld-m. My PRC loves the 140 bthp.

@@RobsReloading I’ve got a load worked up using Superformance (45 grains I think, its a hot load!) using the 140 grain BTHP’s that shoots just as good as the 4350. I got a deal on the ELD Match bullets so I grabbed them, really hoping I can duplicate the groups I get with the BTHP.

I have now started at mid chart and only use 1 hole groups. 3-4 rounds.

I use H4359 fir 143, 147gr ELDs. Also 7MMMAg. I chose it for temperature stability In the 7mm I have gone from a 162 to a 180gr bullet and it is impressive.

What happened to your Athlon scope, and which model was it? Are they replacing it with a new one?

After you get some good groups shoot the even numbers on ether side of a good group and find your 1hole.

41.5gr h4350 with 140gr eld match is a decent loading for black bears

42.5 of H4350 is the money load if your brass can handle it. Prime (Norma) and Lapua brass can handle it no problem. Pretty well known combo with the 140gr ELDM and H4350.
