I was Captain on board this boat 2000-03. we took her all over the Pacific, Alaska, Carib, etc. This Video is a tribute to the original Owner and Builder. Well thought out, quality, no frills; you don't need anything bigger!

Was she called Spada too back then or did she sail under a different name? I didn't know if the owners changed since then. Did you have a chase boat? I got out of crewing yachts in 99 and worked on a boat that was the same boat I had crewed on when I first got into yachting, but then name had changed. So my second boat I ever worked on was also my second to last boat I ever worked on.

"Probably the most beautiful superyacht I've ever been aboard" I thought you were exaggerating when the video started. You weren't. An absolutely beautiful yacht. The bridge is amazing. The quality and detail of workmanship is truly outstanding. I've seen a lot of videos of other yachts - some of them bigger and some certainly more extravagant and luxurious, with lots of 'wow' factor if that's your thing, but this is the first yacht I've seen that looks like it actually belongs to the seas. It is not just a luxurious floating hotel. It is a transmitter of a seafaring tradition. That it was designed and built by the Dutch, with their long tradition of shipbuilding and seafaring does not surprise me.

Unlike other boats of this size, this one feels warm, welcoming and homely. Thanks for this video!

I agree. I like that he doesn't try to do all the fancy shit with drones and graphics etc. Straight up walk through, not too long and not too short. Perfect reviews!!

Who needs new yachts with big screen tv's and posh tech gadgets,- when you have this!

That’s a timeless classic. More of a mini cruise ship. Looks so safe and comfortable. Imagine parking a classic Porsche port side and embarking on that? Class. Great reviews Nick I really look forward to them.

That boat is beautiful! The cabinetry is endless - and so well done. It creates a more mature, classic ambience than the more modern yachts. The advantages of modern build techniques are obvious - bigger windows and less cluttered deck areas - but the feel of this boat is very different. It has an elegance and sophistication that they lack. I love it.

I appreciate the way Aquaholics covers a wide range of yachts. From the small budget owner operator, to the really big boats costing millions. This yacht is absolutely charming and beautiful. All the wood is so wonderfully crafted. I love the classic look and the warm home like feeling of the interior.

Such class, tasteful styling and detail. I would neither add nor take away anything. Well done indeed.

Just watched your top 10 super yachts for 2019, then came straight here! I concur, THIS is a thing of sheer beauty. It is a work of art, inside and out. My father was a carpenter (and a yachtsman too, I must add!) and so I always pay close attention to woodwork. Every piece of cabinetry on this boat is magnificent. Complemented by textures and fabrics that work seamlessly. What I REALLY like about this boat though is that, despite it being incredibly beautiful, it is not in the least bit gaudy or ostentatious. No impractical roll-top baths, or garish marble here! It strikes a perfect balance between beauty - particularly with its close attention to design detail - and functionality. Often a balance that is very difficult to strike. Done so here to perfection! Awesome presentation, as ever, thanks for uploading. I hope you've had a great Christmas! You really can't beat the nautical feeling you get from the traditional classics. The immensely expensive new modern boats, while featuring plenty of eye candy just don't encapsulate the true love of cruising the 7 seas the way it was done over the years of original discovery.

I was lucky enough to be on this boat back in the Summer of 2014 - an experience that I'll never forget.

I’ve passed this boat hundreds of times while docked in the Port d’Antibes. Never looked twice at it given proximity to the mega vessels like Dilbar, Barbara or Kingdom. She is an absolute gem. Thank you for taking us inside. She isn’t in Antibes this morning but I’ll be watching for her return.

Nick your channel just gets better and better. Your enthusiasm is infectious and why not? That is an utterly brilliant piece of engineering and style. I simply adore it. Thank you for your wonderful presentation and attention to detail.

I'd swear it was a luxury home or hotel if I didn't know it was a yacht tour with spacious areas, atrium. Previously owned Yacht built to ship standards is an amazing value. Travel the World in this yacht.

Not my style of boat but I can certainly appreciate the woodwork and the atrium is beautiful.

Hands down the best yacht tours on the net the level of enthusiasm that you express on your tours really kicks your videos into a class that no one else has been able to obtain. Just awesome and you still need Canadian socks.

Theres nothing like a classic look to a yacht. Feadship, burger,chris craft, & cheoy lee have always been my favorites! Lots of wood and beautiful classic features.

I agree: one of the most amazing boats ever seen. Give me some millions and i would buy or build those boat. Buitiful and classic. Nothing like "look, i am here", more silent and elegant. Thanks a lot for that tour !

Noticed the little fender cleats and holes on the walk around at 13:07. These are small things but it shows how much attention to detail was out into this beauty.

Ok I'm convinced, this is the prettiest yacht of them all. I love the cozy feeling of the interior.

Congratulations to Hakvoort and the owner of this beautiful boat for taking the #1 spot in your Superyacht top 10 for 2019 and deservedly so; it really is a work of art... Stunning!

"Left me speechless - but not quite" a classic Nick aphorism. (prefer the style of these socks with your shorts rather than the 2021 version) and she's certainly a lovely craft.

I agree with you. It is such a well laid out boat, with serious long range cruising capability. That bridge looked all business.

That central lobby area is just a masterful piece of craftsmanship, from the design down to the joinery...magnificent!

I cannot thank you enough for showing the entire boat including the galley and the crew quarters. Long distances can be difficult on the crew and I would want them to be as comfortable as possible. And who wants a grand yacht that is not ocean-worthy? As you said it is truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing

the finish on this yacht is superb

I've seen quite a few of your videos and I have to admit, this boat earned the title of "SUPERyacht." Very spacious with an amazing home feel and a place I could actually stretch my legs and relax on. I loved every inch of this boat.. From the decor to the design and layout. I agree with you 100%! This is the best I've seen you tour so far... And you have toured yachts double the price of this one and none of them even came close to this one.

Absolutely amazing. I have to agree with you Nick - beautiful. She's showing her age, but in such a very positive way. The refit has definitely made her look sparklingly new. 🙂

As someone that will never be able to purchase a yacht like this, I always enjoy the crew quarters and engine room, go figure. This one as far as wood work really caught my eye. I like the older style.

Agreed!!! The most beautiful yacht by far

Truly one of the most classic yachts that I have seen for many years, I had a friend in the early 70's who lived on a 100 ft yacht in Long Beach and this beauty brought back great memories. The only thing missing was their Grand Piano on the aft deck.

The Hakvoort boats are the best what Holland can built. They equal easily the big three and, they bring even good money when for sale. If you find one. Look at the woodwork, look at the splendid craftmanship. And yes Mr Barker!

The design is awesome and the woodwork is beautiful.

We share very similar tastes. I would wholeheartedly agree that this is the most beautiful yacht that you've reviewed. This just reeks of class. The woodwork is spectacular. Once again, a fine review. I so enjoy living vicariously through your reviews, and dream a dream.

I love the old classic super yachts that one is so spectacular I love all the woodwork the way they got everything set up

It's a Piece of Art, the yacht is just stunning. Good wood work, rounded corners are well done and everywhere, it's a real boat and not just expensive toy. The doors are amazing especially those sliding, the round ones.

The current field of modern yachts today is pretty amazing. But this one is a timeless beauty. A real "ship" feel which I think many of the yachts of today are missing. Amazing!

I have just revisited this video after your top super yachts of the year review, as with Zozo the 131, I had forgotten what a thing of beauty this boat is! A gentleman's yacht, almost a step back in time, stunning.

Thank you for showing this, Nick. She is the epitome of a proper yacht. What a lovely ship: she has style, quality and....class. So refreshing after seeing all these modern floating condos which tend to be the norm today.

Nick you are right, this boat is worth looking at an the beauty inside is top level craftsmanship on its wood work and everything just flows straight and true. It leaves you with the feeling that you are home now and your able to relax and just enjoy the simplicity and beauty of everything from the wood work, natural lighting and the interior. Then think of the distance that you can go. This is truly a anywhere boat. Thank you for making this video for us to see my friend.

Hi Nick, I have just watched your video of the incredible Rossinavi ship, and once finished for whatever reason I decided to revisit this beautiful Hakvoort tour, I watched it when you published it but don't think I fully appreciated the beautiful craftsmenship that has gone into the design and build of this vessel. It really is classically stunning, no need for huge tv's, rainfall showers or even signs of any Miele being present! but it is fabulous , very classy and tasteful, a masterpiece that seems to have just got better with age, what a wonderful machine, whoever owns this is one very lucky individual!! And that range she has, amazing! I could watch this tour for a third time and still be intrigued!! Thanks for sharing this, keep up the good work squire! Peter
