Tecolote Canyon Natural Park- San Diego, California. Join me on an easy 2.8 mile double out-and-back trek through some of the finest open space scenery in San Diego, from coastal sage scrub, oak woodland, and riparian (streamside) habitats! Here, you will see me making a variety-filled amble through some of the relatively little natural environment remaining in this heavily suburbanized part of Southern California! I hike the central portion of the canyon between Balboa Ave to the north and Mt. Acadia Blvd to the south!
