In this video we graph the moisture content and dry unit weight in order to find the optimum moisture content. We examine how compaction is dependent on the moisture content, type of soil and amount of energy applied. In the example a table is given in order to calculate the dry unit weight and No Air Voids (NAV) line which are then graphed to find the optimum moisture content.

wet density equals weight of compacted sample+ mould divided by volume of mold

Gamma w is the unit weight of water, which is 9.81 kN/m^3. Mr. Yusuf over there is almost talking about bulk density; don't listen to them.
from where 9.81 came in the calculation of no air voids line

Why we cant get zero air voids in real life ?

because that would be 100% perfect compaction. It's like finding the last digit of pi, we can get close enough for it not to matter but not technically perfectly 100%.
