I love the 6.0 for its power and performance, but I love the 7.3 for its reliability and longevity.

Power and performance goes to the 6.0, especially bullet proofed. But the 7.3 is far more reliable and is much more likely to go to a million miles.

I have a 99.5 F350 cc drw 2wd 7.3, and a 2002 Excursion 4wd with the 6.0. The 6.0 is faster and better on fuel mileage, the 7.3 has 290k miles on it and has less of a repair bill than my excursion with 115k on it. My 6.0 has left me on the side of the road twice and my 7.3 has never once failed me. I've owned both trucks for over 12 years and the 7.3 has seen way more abuse. That's all you need to know. Lol

7.3s are perfect work horses

7.3 for sure. Really the only powersteoke I'll ever own and I've driven every diesel from Chevy Ford and Dodge. 7.3 may not be fast but you can't kill it

Love 7.3s but I would take a bullet proofed 6.0!

Got a 6.0 with over 300,000 miles and still runs like it did when it was new! Had heads machined for orings and put freeze plugs in the egr cooler. Great truck. I also have a 6.7, the 6.0 is still my favorite

Both are bad to the bone, but I gotta say 7.3... Maybe just because I have one though.. haha

6.0 for sure because I own an 05 6.0 and know they’re fast as hell as I’ve beat a bmw, mustang, 6.6 duramax, and many more. Haven’t had any issues with it. Definitely has a lot of power and great performance. Tows great as well. No problem pulling a loaded down gooseneck trailer.

Like they say 7.3 is a workhorse, 6.0 Powerstroke is quick, depending on the upgrades it can be as good.

I'm kinda partial to 6.0s but this time I think I'd go with the 7.3. My dad has a 7.3 and 6.0 and they're both great

Have a 6.0l since new. Chipped, never been apart with 400k and still runs great

Great video! Did a good job in the comparison on both trucks. I have a 7.3 of my own and i love it!! But i'm open to try the 6.0

Stock 6.0 but had aftermarket parts on the cooling system? How does that work?
