I've played like this for years and only recently found out how pros play the game, i always used to play defensive

Great to see this game alive and well. So many childhood memories.

The cash preservation tip was something I never knew of, I knew you could convert fake buildings to real ones but I wasn’t aware that it was cheap, nice vid!

Oh yes, Excal came up with the clear the mines things. I just stole it and sold it

Flamewall guard mod is a bit buggy, the flame is stoped by building (the standard flamewall get through buildings and other stuff) and the dragon tank gets veterancy. I love this tip.

5:13 is the biggest trick to use when you've got planes that "need a landing request" and you don't have an airfield for them. Pros will hold the alt button and move their plans left to right back and forth until they are able to get their airfield up. They don't loose health this way.

About the cash preserving argument, I think it should be clear it's all about spending money efficiently and using fake buildings simply allows you to do more with same cash at that moment. Optimally, you never want to float, because floating is simply a sign of lacking behind APM wise, OR a sign that your production capacity is too small.

Fire wall or rocket pods then guard mod is the best tip :) Selecting the dozer exiting the CC then clearing mine to force the dozer not to stop or turn.

Many people forget that u can use the clear mines for the demo traps. Booby traps and the mines. So whenever you got a dozer close to a demo trap u should use the clear mine, and maybe u can save ur dozer.

You struggle on medium? It takes guts to accept mistakes many times before getting used to it then basically annihilating those beta medium generals (I only do medium USA tho because theyre the easiest medium AI

You can destroy even hard armies in ZH with USA and GLA early on. For USA, just put a dozer in a chinook, fly it into the enemy base and build a barracks there. For GLA, you either: 1. run a worker into the enemy base to build a tunnel, have another one build a barracks or 2. wait until you get an arms dealer up, load up the technical with a worker and 4 terrorists, drop the 4 terrorists at the enemy supply center and take it out and have the worker build a tunnel.

I think the real reason the fake market is good is because it builds half it's construction with only 1/4th of it's price. Of course even if it was 1:1 it would still be better since I'd rather have money now than later So you can make other things ( units or tunnels etc ) faster but not more.

I have never got flamewall to work and thus never used dragon tank. They get killed before it can burn anything. Don't know if it makes any difference that I only play against hard ai.

Fastest way to kill hard ai with GLA is sending your first worker to enemy base close to money supply or command center and just spam units from your base thru that tunnel. Works allmost everytime 1v1 but works good also maps like defcon 6 and twilight flame.

I always see you flick between arms dealers/war factories to rapidly build armies, instead of having to click on each individual building to spam the units. I didn't see a tip for this in your hot-key guides, can you explain how you do this? Or do you just hot-key each individual arms dealer like, 1,2,3.. etc?

Can you help me with this: In challenge mode, you can pick whatever general you like. However, their enemy is always the default one. Like Granger's enemy is Thrax, Alexander's enemy is Kwai. I want to choose some other generals instead of the default ones. How do you choose your enemy instead of the default ones?

Apparently you cant, you have to go through general by general till you get to fight the general you want to fight. It's ranked by easiest to hardest depending on the general you picked, ex. Alexander go against kwai first bc alexander can disable tanks using emp. Also a bit off topic here, but glad I could help i guess.

I've asked the same question. It's not on steam by the looks of it. The disk is available from Amazon but I've heard the game doesn't work with Windows 10. A digital version can be bought on apples app store (I mac/macbook) there must be a digital Windows 10 compatible version out there somewhere but not found it so far...

What is 1k mode? If you mean 1v1, easiest way is to play GLA and send first worker to hard Ai base right in the beginnig to build tunnel and use it to send infantry and quads. Works best against usa and china, but can also work against GLA if the map is small enought.

@@kimtuang8349 if you really wanna fast win in bigger maps, you could play as USA and use chinook with infantry to capture theyr base or bunker up to take out attacks and counter after they run out of money.

Fake buildings often don´t build on first try.. bug?

If you try to place things too quickly then yes it will do that. Tricks if press F to switch to build fake stuff, wait a second, then place your fake building. Then it should work everytime. If you start clicking super fast then it will not build.
