Okay, let me start off by saying that I am A DIEHARD JSETTE STAN. But the GG’S CAME TO BATTLE!!!! They definitely ate and were very entertaining-yes I loved every diss. This was definitely a battle and while the Jsettes ate, per usual, the fact that the GG’S came ready for war, like real war was just 🤩🤩

Exactly. Jak and the GGs were literally pointing at the Settes ready for war! And they remained entertaining and true to their identity the whole time. It takes nothing away from the Settes great performance this game, acknowledging that fact.

Settes took the W in this one but not by a landslide like they’ve been doing other teams this season. I appreciate the fact that the GGs didn’t just lay there and take the beating - they were SWINGING! 😮‍💨

Both teams did great! ❤ they probably giggling and texting each other right now. They all friends lol. Amazing season even though it went by so quickly. Quicker than usual 😢

Just as Kevia with the GG’s had an uncontested year, it’s the same here for Laneia and the Settes this time around. Nothing wrong with that at all. GG’s did a solid job and I was able to catch the several Sette disses. The JSettes were just on a different level all season. Both bands sounded great. Alcorn was a tiny terror, but they’re called the Sonic Boom for a reason.

@@lanier84 Was it mentioned anywhere I was just a JSette fan? Whose flowers did I give credit to firstly? Has any group checked the JSettes all season? The GG’s were good. There’s nothing to take away from them whatsoever. The JSettes have been prepared all season for each and every team, from the known heavy hitters (Stingettes, Dancing Dolls, GGs) to newly rising groups as the Motion. One performance where the GGs have been solid (after games where there were numerous cuts because let’s face it; They’re rebuilding) is not going to outdo the fact the JSettes have been extremely consecutive all season round. There’s nothing to reach for other than the negativity you’re seeking to spew.

=all the gg do is buck no choreo or techniques it has got to be the energy or the fact 5 dancing dolls where on the team and when they do 1 by 1s you can really see that on A LOT counts their 7 and 8 is bucking its like they could finish the count so they slap bucking in it and i have trouble telling their counts apart so when i try and do one i end up doing 5 of counts that is not from the ggs i don't get how the best is the gg they are a good second or third

I love the J-Settes. They are my favorite team! I have to give this win to the GG’s; they came to battle! Although, they weren't as clean as the J-settes. From an unbiased opinion who doesn’t have a horse in this race. Both dancing groups mirror each other with a few unique characteristics of their own. So, I would say it was a tie. I don’t think one group ‘ ate up the other’- It’s funny how serious some of you take this 😂 Just enjoy! The band-JSU was louder than the other band.

They do some of the same things like gallop walk or whatever you call it and the kick, and some of the dance moves. They share the same styles. However, The GGs are a little bit more in your face with some of the moves. I probably throw my back out 😅. Who did it first don’t know, heard different sides, but whatever. This is just my opinion.

As an Alcorn alum and a proud Jacktown Ju, I can honestly say that neither team ate up the other. Both dance teams looked amazing. Both bands sounded great. This is the best 5th quarter I’ve seen all year and there was no landslide victory. That Dirty Diana stand was absolutely amazing. That final GG stand was incredible. Both teams have been beating everybody else to sleep this year, so it was only right that they face each other the right way in both of their final game of the year. This is the first 5th quarter that was even close from either team all season. Great job , y’all! I was thoroughly entertained!

I agree. I hate the booing. We are all HBCU family, Black people, students, musicians, artists. And neither of these programs did anything worth booing. I hate the tribal warfare.

These two bands are just in 2 completely different classes.

I am a traditionalist and in year past had not fully accepted these dance styles, but my Goodness, I am converted! This is an incredibly difficult series of counts! I can not take anything away from the J-Settes, but I have to commend the GC's. I have to give it to them for that group formation. Thanks to all of these young women for their dedication to the art of dance. I look forward to seeing what you have in store for next season💛❤

Funny thing is, the only high points of that stand routine were the moments they called themselves “dissing” them with their own material. Everything else in that routine was average. If you’re going to diss the girls, you’re going to have beat them at their own game. You walked down the stands too? Cute. But I didn’t see them transition in those stands like the Settes did. Why? Because no other team can do it like the J-Settes can 🤷🏾‍♀️

the sonic boom got it as far as sound they're bigger so that goes without saying....but the ggs and the settes...they always bring it and I be biting my nails

GGs ate the whole 5th but the jsettes got their wow moments but then aside from those moments I was bored. GGs for the win 🥇 🔥🔥

I think Laneia and the Settes had an amazing season, but I'm giving this win to the GGs for real, at least for the 5th Quarter. They kept me more entertained, and had less people messing up in the stands!! I looked at the comments before watching the battle and I am shocked!! Ya'll lying on the internet!!! Yes, the JSettes won everything else this season, lol, but the GGs got them for this 5th Quarter, straight up

Found out how to dance? She been know how to dance .... her and her team improved and at the end of the season beat the JSettes who were having an undefeated season so FAR. Run and tell that 😸😸😸💜💜💜

Yeah Let's not do Jak. Jak BEEN a phenomenal dancer. Her season as captain is even more impressive because she had a majority freshman team, who clearly were very unaccustomed to the GGs style. Jak shaped her babies from unformed clay into confident Golden Girls. Now next season the new GG captain will have a team with a solid foundation, to do even more amazing things.

GGs took the 5th quarter from the jsette. The GGs was entertaining and clean. Jsette had a good routine but the music wasn’t flowing with jsette. The band was little off too

Southern, Jackson, and Alabama State have the most social media followers while Jackson promotes their Band and Dancers more. BUT the most viewed is The GGs and Stingettes in that order.

Where are all the “I’m tired of stand routines” ass people but root the SETTES on every week as they do one or 2 each game seems like? 😂 (I think I counted 3 here)
