So it's January 2019 and I'm just sitting here in the Australian heat, trying not to melt and going through my 5SOS playlist and I'm listening to what the boys have to say about the latest video they shot. And every other time I've watched this I've assumed it was the Want You Back video, which never really made sense to me because I didn't think it was particularly performative and it definitely wasn't high speed. But now I'm wondering if they were actually talking about the video for Lie to Me, which we know they filmed ages ago because they did it before Ash had his moon tattoos and because they intended Lie to Me to be the second single (but then Youngblood took off, and then they decided to release Valentine). Lie to Me is performative and it's high speed (in the sense that there are cars literally speeding around), and they've said in other interviews that it's their favourite video.
