    1-1-2-left hook body-right hook head is probably the most satisfying combo to land perfectly. 1-1-2, backstep, 2 is also a favourite. For kickboxing 1-2-4 to the head is amazing 😍

    I teach a fitness boxing class, but it's pretty realistic, where the higher level folks do some body sparring and light sparring drills. We're careful and I know who is on what level and the class is supportive and trustworthy. A combo I like to catch on the mitts is jab, slip my cross, left uppercut, pivot out. Or build it up to 1-2-1 (slip my right) 5, pivot out... trying to bait the person to throwing a right hand behind your left jab, slip it, and throw the uppercut under the arm. I catch with my left mitt on the underside of my right cross. Also like 1-2 (slip my left jab) (roll under my overhand right/right hook) land a liver shot left hook to the body 9. We LOVE your videos.

    @chl.advice.entertain I was the same way when I first started sparring. The more you do it the more confident and better to get. Just try to stay relaxed and control your breathing and stay focused. Don't close your eyes or turn away when you're getting hit. Stay calm and I promise you you'll land the shots that you want to throw

    @@gimmebobuxcat5862 and that's exactly what your opponent expects, the predictable. A very good combo also but you got to lix it up to keep him guessing. Start with 1-2-1. Then after throwing that a few times, go to 1-2-1-1-2. Practice during shadow boxing and the heavy bag so it becomes muscle memory.

    I have actually been accumulating Tony's combos for a few years now and have them on a list where I pick 4 to do randomly. This is great to have everything consolidated into a single video thread. There is so much crap out there from people who might or might not know how to box. With Tony, you *KNOW* you're getting good advice and good combos.

    Hello, i have been watching your videos recently and im really motivated to start boxing. I have been watching some boxing clips from famous boxers such as Thomas Hearns and Manny and I am trying to start boxing as a hobby. I am really interested in the southpaw stance rather than the orthodox stance and i feel it to be better but my power hand is my right hand. Do you think it is a good idea?

  • @Christopherson2006

    @Christopherson2006

    7 ай бұрын

    I'm right handed as well, I also am a big fan of southpaw. What I do, I put power into my jabs and use my left to feint and use that momentum to do a lead right hook, it's also confusing to fight someone who uses south paw but hits real hard with his right. One Boxer to another, keep it up. In time
