This has a stained glass look, excellent!!

I've been using ceramic tiles to practice on after a friend donated more than a thousand tiles to my purpose. They are fantastic and economical. Not ruining canvas any more.

I wish I could get Australian floetrol! Maybe someday when I can afford it… Nice color choices on those coasters! Looks like stained glass with the black!

I use untinted house paint as a medium the same as for micas 👍

Did you put black in when I wasnt looking ?

Omg is it this easy ! With the second tile is there cell activator underneath and on top I must learn swiping I swipe too hard

Yes Jo, it really is this easy, in the second one it was just cell activator on the playing card only then swipe. I have a few swipe videos also that might help you 💜

This is beautiful! I have a few questions, if you don’t mind. Do you spin this inside? If so, how do you keep it from getting on everything? Do you seal it with resin? I’m a dot mandala artist but I’ve been doing some acrylic pours too. I always use multi surface paint and cure them in the oven, but I don’t know if I can do that if I use a cell activator. (I just joined your Facebook page)

Thank you Melanie, yes I spin inside a big plastic tub, I have a video on it that shows my set up. All my stuff gets coated in resin once cured, I just love the look of it, I’ve been playing with resin for over 30 years and I still love the stuff. As for putting it in the oven I’ve never tried, the ca isn’t flammable, from memory it’s 90% water so it may be ok, I just let everything air dry 👍🥰💕

If there is dry paint on the spinner it stops them flying off 👍

I don't use glue for a pouring medium, it's untinted house paint.

Is there a Way too o duplicate the Australian floetrol?

The American floetrol you can get very close , it just makes the cells look a different shape.

When you say you grabbed your cell activator was that just a little bit of black paint mixed with a whole lot of floetrol or could you please elaborate? I did my first porters last night and when I tried to do is swipe it didn't look anything yours and I'm wondering what I did wrong?

Yes, the cell activator is 1 part Amsterdam paint with 3 parts Aussie floetrol.

The pillow is straight out of the tin the pouring medium is untinted house paint with josonja gloss varnish at 3:1

No idea, probably a kookaburra or a magpie, the video was done 2 years ago now. We have loads of wild birds that visit everyday here. I'm in Australia 🇦🇺 👍🐨
