I like this about draft, it exposes bad players better, cause now the enemy team can also see the horrible comp you’re about to play, and make Pokémon and item decisions accordingly I hope as draft becomes more accessible, players make a better effort to care more about team comps

You mean 2 speedsters and mimikyu along with an attacker on the same team isn't the play? I try to hover attacker until last second before switching to defender just so my team doesn't pick 4 squishy pokemon. 2 assassins on the same team who have a bad start basically means nearly half their team is useless.

What is more crazy is the fact that your team has over 100 assists in total. It’s as if your team is playing a 5 stack with comms against a Solo Q team

Draft is part of this whole buggy mess. On March 4 there was a hot fix in order to solve some issues that were causing the game to crash, freeze or bug out and Draft was unavailable for a short while but the Devs have in fact said that they know there are a lots of bugs both harmless and game breaking. Some got an ETA but others like the invincible bugs for some mons have not gotten anything else besides recognition from the Devs as they publicly said they have no idea what's causing them and they are investigating them. So my guess is that until the next big update when the current BP ends, we will have to endure them

Dodrio gets to play a completely different game than the rest of the roster, when used by a competent player, and well supported by their team.

I personally think draft is gonna lead to some interesting matches. Either we're gonna get someone that breaks the K.O. record, or we're gonna get a 1000/0 score game.

I love that the scizor was mvp, even though it was the first pokemon you guys picked, because the enemies picked two physical melee pokemon in response for some unknown reason loll

hi cris do you think muscle band is more beneficial than rapid fire scarf on blastoise? i use the same build you used except i use rfs instead of muscle but I havent tried muscle band on him yet

as much as i love watching cris beat the enemy, i really love seeing his allies be good. just being reminded that there are good players in unite left and seeing cris be carried for a change so he's not full of cynism on the world

Saint Peter’s holy balls, that’s a diff. Keep in mind, everyone in this lobby has to be like 1400 in masters to participate in the lobby. And three of them picked speedsters.

i am around 1450 and i already had 3 drafts ( lucky me ) , 2 yesterday - one 5 men one solo and one solo today , in today's draft i had a charm potion pika , i was so surprised to see people like these make it too 1400 which shows where the real problem lies , it's matchmaking and the easiness of climbing rank , drafts are introduced for players who play seriously but if these players are coming in draft already , i don't see draft succeeding in it's purpose in further seasons when it will available at ranks lower than 1400 as well.

today i got my first draft game and it told me to ban and i was so surprised by draft that i accidently banned confey .....turned out to be a good choice though

gotta say GG(Get Good) to them ...

I only see 2 speedsters lol. Also, comfy contributes to a lot. So maybe the mistake was not banning it lol

Mimikyu is a speedsters disguised as an allrounder(no pun intrnded). Is like Scyther being a speedster as an allrounder by role.

Your squirtle early game is impressive.

Mimikyu plays like an Assasin that’s why Cris calls it a speedster

What would've been the correct counter pick here for the enemy team? Because Zoroark, Goodra and Venu weren't that bad imo. Also Venu picking Petal Dance into Dodrio and Scizor wasn't too bad. I guess an Eldegoss and a Buzzwole instead of Meowscarada and Mimkyu? Maybe a Slowbro instead of Goodra to collapse on your Scizor/Comfy combo with Slowbro Unite

For %, no For direct value, yes. Like if u just want the 4% + hp then just stack 6 white emblems of whichever grade but if you have all golds that have +50 hp on them then you could get around 400+ hp with 6 white emblems Similarly for attack, I chose +20 value from the emblems and then 6 brown for the %. Hole this helps

This just goes to show that even with draft some players still can’t make a good team comp

draft is cool, but what is it really worth when matchmaking is still this terrible since day one. It seems like a pro feature to me, but i still get exp share lane cinderaces and other 58% loserate players in my ranked matches

Bro uk draft is not for trio .. I happened to be playing trio we got so much disadvantage the enemy chose a full counter to us nd our last 2 player were solo nd were typical random .. it is unfair but fair at the same time

Draft essentially punishes bad players for being selfish. If you don’t have the cursed items, if you don’t play the defender or support slot, you get easily crushed. The problem is, this should apply in lower elos, not solely high elos :/

More than a week that i got to masters with 1400+ yet no draft 😅 Currently 1608

I have 400 games.. 1700 with 300 games 1400 and I never got a draft game. So dumb

Does anyone have any connections with the Pokemon United staff? Maybe you Cris? I continue to get banned because I spoke up to my teammates who are fighting over farm then spam thanks button then give up 2 minutes into the game? Why are good players getting in trouble for the behavior of the bad? Just spent money to get new hollower today, I'm a world ranked player and this is so ridiculous 🙃

I have got just 1 draft in my life, and my team's trio carry choose a Dragapult. I don't have to say anything more than this, this is enough to say how it went. He was a golden badge Dragapult, he wasn't a bad player just to be clear, the pokemon is garbage it's only pokemon that is in F tier. Like why! In coordinated game play why choose that garbage. I hated every second of the game, and we end up surrendering at 1 min mark.

To be fair comp or not im not the kind of guy to adjust things based on my free will also im only good with speedesters so take one pill either letting me play a speedy character or ima be bad all game

I think am gonna quit this game. After a 1 and a half year of playing unite i found that without a good team you cant win easily. Everytime i give my all but my teammates are just sitting in the jungle (2-3 of them) and i am there trying to steal objectives and dying again and again, lol.
