(537) RIBBON POUR on LARGE CANVAS! 24 X 36 Inches FLUID ART with HOMEMADE MEDIUM
In an effort to use up my acrylic paints and mediums, I'm going to go BIG for a while, though I have plenty of smaller canvasses on hand I want to use, as well. Anyway, this ribbon pour is on the largest canvas I've recorded so far (I've done a flop or two on previous ones, but not recorded!), 24 x 36. I would love to embellish it in some way; if you have any ideas, let me know in the comments below! As always, colors and recipe used are detailed below.

Today's colors are Artist's Loft White, Creative Inspirations Payne's Grey and Master's Touch Gold, Persian Red, Purple Red, Rouge, Light Purple, Purple, Cobalt Blue, Pale Blue, Emerald Green and Viridian. They were mixed one part paint to two parts of the following pouring medium plus water as needed (the white base was mixed one part paint to two parts Floetrol).
Pouring Medium (Dan Hodges' Recipe):
3 Parts Floetrol
3 Parts Minwax Polycrylic
2 Parts Glue/Water Mix (3:1)

Well, now I know you are tall... even so, that huge canvas almost completely covered you when you were holding it up for the dry results😊.This is an observation from a short person who would have needed help tilting this biggun out. I think it's a great study in contrast, Chris. And, I love how crisp the lines are. It really does look like an abstract landscape. Especially with all the great movement in the water area. I'm enjoying watching you use up all your acrylic paint. I know it's kinda selfish, but I'm glad you have so much paint and pouring medium to use up😁.☺️🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

I know! What are you going to do when use up your pouring mediums and paints? I’ve been mostly painting brush and love but have thought that I might take a break and pour😂 although to be honest, I have many and Mississippi folks don’t really appreciate pour paintings..I do like abstract as well though. Oh and btw, I’m not a pink or red fan at all either.. unless I’m wearing black and white and red lipstick, earrings and sandals 😂
