There is a great (well sad) story about Marcell by Tyler Dunne on The Buffalo News. Marcel has had his, mother, father, grandmother die, his High School coach who was like another father die in a car crash, and his brother murdered over $40, and now his Uncle is in ICU, and he's only 26. He played football to help his family, who was very poor, and they all died before he could, it's heart breaking. Remember these people are people, not just objects you watch on TV or your fantasy team

Kretanium Especially given what a great run stop he is. The bills missed the playoffs cause he got hurt v oakland. Before he went out oakland had 40 something yards rushing, after he went out hurt they ended with over 200 total rushing yards. Way underrated as a run stuffer imo

I watched every Bills game this past season, and the only times opponents are effectively able to run against the Bills is when Dareus is taking a breather. Dude is a freak of nature - best Bills draft pick on a defensive player since Bruce Smith.

I just had the pleasure of meeting him today. I'm working on his home on Tuesday. Great dude and so kind to be so huge. We talked about football and about his cousin Justin Fields which I'm from Ohio. He looked so familiar so I had to ask. And I was right. He will be honorary at the Texas/ Alabama game this season well deserved.

Kinda sucks that he’s not what he used to be in his prime anymore. Dareus was a beast for Buffalo for a long time until he started getting suspensions and hurt a lot. I still miss this guy but glad they traded him away a long time ago. He’s nowhere where he was in his prime

Bills have the best defense yes i said that! Marcell Dareus in my opinion is the best defensive tackle in the league better than Nkadmong Suh. Bills are now a playoff team and probably better than the patriots. My prediction is they go 11-5 and lose in the playoffs in divisional round.

Such a waste! I thought the world of Dareus. First jersey I bought since Bruce Smith. I thought we’d have that load anchoring our defense for the rest of his Hall of Fame career ... BUT nope. Sometimes when ya pay a guy that fire inside burns out. And it didn’t help matters much when Rex Ryan showed up and decided to try and fix something that wasn’t broken... and not to mention all Marcel’s off the field crap.
