Profesora primero darle las gracias, y segundo me queda una duda: he's gotta work late tonight, porque esta frase lleva la contracción de have (he's + gotta), siendo que para las demás sujetos no, ej: I gotta get some groceries. Gracias desde valdivia, chile.

El uso de gotta no sigue las reglas gramaticales. Pero generalmente incluimos la contracción de has con gotta.

Significa meterse en la cama. No es raro ni obsceno el uso.

Es común decir "do the laundry" pero también se dice "wash clothes". Lo mismo con los platos. Decimos "do the dishes" o "wash the dishes".

Como participio "gotten" es más usado en el inglés americano. "Got" se usa más para referirse al pasado de "get", o para acompañar al "have" e indicar "posesión"(have got), o "tener que"(have got to).

Eso no es el verbo to be..HE'S es la contraccio nde he has....lo que pasa es q se contraen igual, solo podras diferenciarlos porque el verbo que sigue es participio o no....si es participio es have/has

Please, could you explain to me why did you do that? due to the contraction "GOTTA" includes the auxiliary verb.

Gotta is the contraction of got to. Many times we use it without the auxiliary verb. Grammatically this is incorrect, but it is common in informal speech.

No suena bien así. Es preferible: I've already been sick. - enfermo A veces se dice "sick of" para expresar harto, pero no tanto con el tiempo presente perfecto. I am already sick of this job.

Es necesario incluir el "has", o su contracción. Cuando es "have", a veces no se pronuncia (I gotta, we gotta), aunque no es correcto tampoco.

No se pronuncian igual. Gotten tiene el sonido de N al final.
