You can unlock the speed on the other Engwe bikes through the special menu's, did you try it on this new model?

Good video! How about reviewing the Apias F3? Looks like a lot of bike for the price. I want to buy a couple of them but have yet to see where anyone has reviewed it.

How effective is the 750W ramp? There are a lot of hills where I live and I needed an electric bike that could climb them. Will you be testing the PVY Z20 PLUS? I'm torn between these two models.

what do you think of the results from the steep hill climb test? I have times of a lot of other ebikes up there to compare.

The peak wattage they're using is based on the fact a fully charged 52 volt battery is actually 58.8 volts... that times 22 amps is actually 1294 watts

The Engine Pro from Engwe has always been a great bike. 28 mph for a "bicycle" is very good. You need to get a hyper-scooter if you really want to go fast.

Torque sensors absolutely suck for commuting. Only will buy cadence sensors for commuting. Torque are only good if mainly doing trails or more off roading.

@@darrylphillips6301 ..I like to pedal even on the street....they are perfect if you want to pedal. I have 2 bikes...one is cadence and other is torque...I like them both for what they are.

Hello, please reply. I only use it on the pedal. The throttle button does not work. I turned it on from the settings and it did not work. I looked at the electrical tape file at the battery. Hello. I see that you know Engwe electric bicycles well. I want to buy one, but I have no way to try them in Spain. That's why I would appreciate it if you could advise me on a model. I tell you my needs. I am 70 years old and I am 5'5". I weigh 70 kg. I want it to walk, mainly on steep mountain trails. I don't need speed, but I do need it to be able to climb steep trails without having to pedal.

OK. Va une fois que tu es en mode réglage (P1 P2 etc...) appuie une quinzaine de secondes sur + et l'écran va se mettre à clignoter. Reviens sur le set up en appuyant sur i et éteint le vélo puis rallume. Ça devrait être complètement débridé. 😉

Just swap the controller for more power. a 30a controller like Grintech or K series would direct an average of 1500w to the hub. Shouldn't be too difficult, but the controller would need to be quite small to fit in this frame. Great looking bike, and they offer a BMX handlebar option on their website. 👍

Want more speed? Change wheel size to 26 or higher. Will obviously affect the accuracy of the speedo, but...

Yeah I don’t get it. The keyed setup for the battery is awesome but I want to keep the key on my keychain so I can lock my bike and take the battery to charge it. I don’t want to reach underneath my bike and leave my keychain dangling or have to disconnect a key. One of my #1 considerations of an e bike is “does this thing make my life easier” and if the answer is yes, I ride more. So I’ve got a bike with a key removable battery that doesn’t need it in the bike to ride; baskets front and rear, a kryptonite 912 combo lock that makes locking up ridiculously easy (with a dedicated bag under the seat to keep it in), and of course, a good cup holder and quick release phone mount. Makes my life so easy.

hitting a higher speed on flat ground doesn't take much power, plus this is limited in the system unfortunately.

get the 2.0 if you need something with a torque sensor and on the lighter side. If you want something faster and more powerful for the same price I did review a dual motor meelod ebike earlier and have a discount code which makes it about the same price as this. It's much heavier though.

⁠@@maximumchargeEVwow thank you for pointing me in Meelod’s direction. Seems like an undermarketed product.. had no idea it existed.. almost too good to be true. You don’t get the fancy wheels and torque sensor, but still get hydraulic brakes + dual motors (granted a small battery that could be doubled up). Do you recall what the original price was? I don’t even see the bike on their website, they appear to be marketing the super73 lookalikes. I like the 2.0 but the 20 mph max throttle has me worried for the streets of Chicago

I guess if we need to decide on a bike to toss in the back of the vehicle, this one can be in the hunt. Secondary bike material.. Do ya spend double and go with an Amp Rides? Or just keep it simple? Dual wheel drive Fabulous folder? Or an $899 Lectric? This is in the middle torque and price wise SORT OF.
