I'm so glad that I watched the video of how you did this fabulous painting Chris! A great journey. Leaving the black really makes the colours seem even brighter. When you added the splash of black around the bright 'centre', I was astonished. Yet, the result of doing that, and taking that area completely away, makes this a masterpiece! 💖💖💖 Very modern looking. Love it! 💓Alison Hood 💕

Chris! This is spectacular! It was pretty before you added more black, but when you took that corner off... Wow! It had a whole new vibe. It feels modern, crisp, and clean... more unique. Your gorgeous lines just pop with that black around it. I love this kind of modern abstract art. It's definitely a statement piece. Chris, could you please pray for my husband and I. We need as many prayer warriors as we can get. Thank you, my friend. Truly Wonderful painting! 😊✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

I watched the cup dragging the yellow along and almost froze. Then I was curious once you noticed it how you would incorporate it or not. It was one happy accident which you cleverly saved. Adding the black turned this all so more dramatic and giving it a sense of greater motion. So beautiful! Once you held it the black part on our right side reminded me of a dog’s face :)

Thanks Esther! I rarely put down a base coat, for two reasons...1) I don't think it's necessary and 2) it darkens the colors on top as it dries and I want them as vivid as possible. Thank you for asking!

Chris-I love how the painting turned out. But what I love more is how “real” you are and you allow us to see the progression. Also, even though you had a little “mess up” when you ran the cup thru the paint, you worked at it to completion and a great finish it was!! Love it!!
