I have the hard cover. It lies open very well. Can't remember exactly how much I paid for it but I do remember it was painful! 😖

Do the patterns use DPN or loop needles

The patterns are not written for specific needle types. YOu will have just 2 sizes in each pattern and info how many sts to cast on either from toe up or cuff down - more patterns I think are written from cuff down (that needs to be double checked though)
