It was just my pissweak attempt at a joke - in quantum mechanics particles can be in a superposition of two states at the same time (like a _bit_ in computing being both 1 and 0 simultaneously) and doesn't become one state or the other until physically observed. It's weird, but i guess that's why it's hard to make decent jokes about it...

If there was a bull ant nest there, and the dog's still alive, it didn't used to piss there. Bull ants can jump up to a meter (yard for the seppos), can sting repeatedly, and can cause sever (deadly) allergic reactions.

I like that you actually take your time when digging. So many of these videos I see break off so many branch tubes that are also would have added to the final piece.

I was born and raised in Texas and there are some serious ants there. I now live in Panama and spent a lot of time in the jungle here while I was in the Army. We have some serious ants here too. However, you guys in Australia are by far the winners when it comes to ants.

Just as as a suggestion, maybe you could put it on a lazy susan and spin it around slowly, so we can see all sides. It's really beautiful and I for one would like to see all the details. Just giving some feedback .

it kills the ants quicker (more humane) and in one go (more humane), avoids harmful chemicals released into environment in an ongoing struggle (more humane and environmentally friendly), eliminates a serious problem to children, and produces beautiful snowflake-original works of art that promote an appreciation of wildlife. ~TalkToMe (sister of above)
