Yesterday I caught a 51cm School Mackerel on Squid. The water was dirty but Herring were biting. No rain, ENE wind. Unusually hard to bring in. It was jagged in the side by the ganged 6/0 hooks. It demonstrates the speed of their attack and the grabbiness of the gape on this size hook.
