She only secured her publicist once S2 started airing. She didn't have any publicist or media manager beforehand when they were filming.

I never specified when she hired the media manager but she did do it earlier than most of her cast mates so she knew at a certain point she wanted to capitalize on the opportunity.

However, she did mention in an earlier video that she thought it would be financially beneficial to do the show when she first accepted it and that was an interest for her as well. I do agree with you though. I do not think she went there as contestants go in today fully knowing that they will become influencers. I think it was an interest for her but less central compared to trying to find love. I do think her thinking shows the early signs of capitalizing off the show rather than believing you'll find love.

I have a hard time believing that anyone who would agree to be filmed in front of national TV isn't doing it for some level of fame. I agree with you that people should just acknowledge it while still having good intentions. It's hard though because with people being able to capitalize on it it's so hard to know who does actually have genuine interests of falling in love. Especially now with LIB being a massive success.

So Clay said it himself that he was scouted and didn't want to participate in it, but production basically paid him off to be on show. I think people that being scouted shouldn't be on the show at all.

@@labetty100I heard it’s to conceal how much of their drink is in the glass because of the way they edit scenes so the level of liquid isn’t visible and appear inconsistent to the viewers if they rearrange parts of the conversations or interactions in scenes.

That’s so true if you think about it because season 1 didn’t use the gold cups at first and you could definitely notice the how it was edited based on the drink levels in the glass!!! I only remember this because I just started watching LIB at the end of season 6 and then binged the other seasons after the finale lol

I love how Natalie is honest enough to herself and to the watchers to admit that she would do the show knowing she might be able to monetize it. I think this is what most participants think of nowadays (or peoppe who hope to do the show inner day) but are too embarrassed to say it and Natalie is just there brave one to state the truth

As someone originally from Minnesota, I'm terrified to see how my home state will be represented.

I personally send voice memos in the earliest stage of dating just because it’s a part of my texting style and it’s been well received. My boyfriend listens to my voice memos as if they’re a podcast, it’s so sweet lol.

I am pro voice notes. Lol When I met my now husband, he was stationed in Okinawa and I was the US. We couldn’t do international phone calls and I didn’t have wifi to video chat, so we started with texting and then voice notes and Voxer. Hearing his voice and being able to go back and forth with voice notes felt so much more intimate and I loved it. Plus it let me hear his voice and know if I liked it or not before I dropped a ton of money to go meet him in person 😂

I miss you guys as soon as your podcast ends. The questions were a little repetitive from old podcast shows, but I still enjoy the energy. Natalie, yes, tell us the juice on your ex-love life. Breach of trust is huge, I realize I can't give people chances after breaching my trust because my behavior becomes passive-aggressive and I don't like who I am when I give people second chances just for them to prove me wrong.

I was also hoping to have the girls talk about it. Chelsey and Jimmy had incredible chemistry in that interview. I now fell she was really misrepresented on the show. She is so bubbly and Jimmy clearly fancies her.

I would say that whether to leave voice notes is a newer generation question. When I was a teen in the 90s dating “party line” situations where you would have your own voice mailbox was still a thing and when I was an adult we used to meet people on yahoo messenger with similar likes (you could just search for people with similar likes) and then talk on the phone. So - my answer is that voice messages are fine and super normal. NOT talking to someone before you go out with them is a fairly new concept.

I like Vanessa and Nick though I agree that they needed to improve their questions. I think they get unnecessary backlash because they are the faces of production without being the real production.

I am only about 4 minutes in, but I had to come here and say that I LOVED the voicenote chat - I support sending them haha. Recently, I was chatting with someone, and sent them voicenotes, to which they replied with voicenotes too... and the voice was an instantly put off 🙈. As annoying as it is, I can somehow understand why someone would ghost you after hearing their voice IF they think it gives a feel for who you are, and they know you wouldn't vibe with them.

Yh in this season Clay also was focused on looks . AD also disclosed in a podcast that in talking about their careers they both revealed they were professional dancer and athlete so they both had an idea that they were both fit at least . I think they spoke about going to the gym too.

You can ask the person if they like exchanging voice notes. His loss Natalie on the guy who had ghosted you.

Yeah I personally hate voice notes 😅 Maybe I wouldn’t mind if I was really crushing on someone, but as a married mom of 3, I don’t want to have to listen to 2-3 minutes of a voice note rather than read a text. Haha

When you guys said everyone puts there best foot forward for the show , it makes me wonder if some of the show’s villain’s also did? Then it makes me wonder , how bad are they in real life if that’s their best foot ??!🤔🤔🤔

I have not followed cast members on social media since season 5 and I refuse to do so unless I really find the person genuine.

I only follow this podcast and about 3-4 people from earlier seasons on IG. I used to follow Gigi but I saw her making conceited and ego-centered comments and I recently unfollowed her.

I think sending a voice note before a first date is kinda overwhelming for guys who are not into that. Guys like to scan the text and move on. If they have to sit there and listen to you, their brain is just UNCAPABLE of processing the message. This is only for guys who are not good listeners. I think during your first date or after, you can ask if the guy is okay with you sending voice notes or quick snaps (snapchat vids).

I’d say yes absolutely it’s fine to send a voice note! Better yet, my standard is a phone call before I go on a date 🤷🏼‍♀️. I’ve had too many duds as first date experiences …lol. If a guy can’t hold a conversation for 10 minutes on the phone I’m not going to waste my time or theirs meeting for a date. I’ve filtered a lot of potential desastre and awkward dates by phone 😁

I would not send a Voicenote because I have been teased about my deep voice since I was in Primary School so yeah, would not send a Voicenote to anyone who has not seen and heard me in person. I would say Giannina and Jessica are plants because Giannina was referred by her agent or whatever so I think the same can be said for Jessica, she was defs there for Fame. Not necessarily a plant but there for other reasons other than marriage.

With Alexa and Brennan, Alexa said she never thought she'd genuinely fall in love in the pods and did. So if you exclude those people, you miss out on Alexa and Brennan type stories.

20:20 is when they actually start talking about how love is blind but there is a commercial so skip 10 seconds to get to the review and the point of the video

I love voice notes in early dating stages coz it's good to sus the guy out a bit, but I hate voice notes in general otherwise because it's so much effort to listen to 😂 especially when someone sends it for something urgent or time sensitive or something they could have just quickly typed omg so annoying. if it's a long story and you're in different timezones then maybe, but otherwise why not rather just call because then I can at least ask questions and engage in the story instead of listening to a 7 min story and then having to keep going back because I forgot what was said 😂

One time someone sent ME a voice note and then ghosted me before I could respond. Like literally unmatched with me or deleted their account so I had no way to answer back lol. Then someone else I had a very great start with asked if I would be comfortable with her sending me voice notes (at some point after our first date) and so we started sending each other voice notes! Very out of my comfort zone, but I felt very strongly about her and wanted to be comfortable with it. Then after 2 and a half months of texting all day every day, voice noting each other, discussing very important subjects about what a partnership means to us, and going on several dates and even meeting some of her friends, she abruptly said she wasn't romantically interested anymore and ghosted me. 🙃 That hurt!

I always do voice notes or calls with people so I know their voice is ok. I remember one of my first online dates I met in person and his voice was higher pitched than mine! I was immediately done. I just couldn’t find him sexy anymore. Especially when he told me people on the phone always mistake him for his mom. Eeeek. I feel like a bitch but I just couldn’t find him attractive anymore. It’s the corporate voice that was a turn off guaranteed. Men are running away from that fake girl. They don’t want don’t want to be with someone for hrs under those conditions. And I find it disrespectful when someone says “anyways” during a conversations. Just some thoughts. Like the chemistry between the both of you
