    Great video and way of expressing your thoughts. Would love to see a solver study series from you, maybe broken down into some of the most common spots and different runouts and how we can simplify and randomise our frequencies in-game.

    @@trevorstrutt1 You realise he is from Canada right? The basic assumption is that unknown players from a wealthy country are more likely to be bad than unknown players from less wealthy nations. That's because there are more people with the disposable cash to play in a pretty high stakes game where they're likely not favourites to win.

    I like watching you play these reg tables, seeing how you adjust with the dynamics and super loose recreationals is nice cause it's something i'm often unsure about when playing reg tables.

    thank you very much for the vid! dont't you think now looking back on that squeeze spot with AKs vs Kaedox on AJ398 is closer to x/f on the river than to x/c? seems like even if he shoves AQo with low freq (kinda sure he understands that you might be close to range check on that turn, so AQ is never a full freq shove), he just doesn't have any natural bluffs, maybe smth like KTs or KQs, but we block that, so our hand in terms of blockers might be worse than some A5s or how do you think looking back?

  • @jackduncan8063

    @jackduncan8063

    3 жыл бұрын

    I was thinking the same thing. I mean Jarretman said himself that 1) AQo is likely a low freq jam, so bottom of value range is more like AJ, 2) the button has a lot of mid-low pocket pairs in their 3-bet overcall range and 3) its hard to find bluffs that take the call 1/3, bet 1/2, bet 2/3 line, especially considering AdKd blocks diamonds, KQ and K10 like you mentioned. Now obviously you can't really put someone on a set like that but surely it deserved a bit more thought than a snap call.

  • @harrycardillo8671

    @harrycardillo8671

    Agreed. Given the action and the board the shove with AQ seems like it would be a very low frequency play.

    Hey Jarret, a lit suggestion from a low stakes player. While writing a note, maybe try to simplify that like: (MP r/c 62s vs BU 3b) Imo its better and faster. Big fan!

    if you were gonna simplify and play only 1 bet size on the flop I think a small size like 1/4 or 1/3 is going to be better than only large bets, however its a very small difference and the important part isn't the flop, it's knowing how to follow through after you've bet a certain size. The benefit to playing multiple sizes per each flop (besides the obvious benefit of getting to choose the highest EV betsize) is that you learn how to play against that size as well, helping you against players who won't only bet the size that you choose.

    40:11 I would prefer betting the turn and the reason why about betting the turn is bc of information (youre under repping your hand by checking the turn) protection and value of course. On the river you can check and reevaluate a possible push. If he raises turn you call bc you have diamonds an TPTK, and if he pushes river you can also reevaluate the river you can think about folding the hand cause your hand doesnt have any value agianst his value raising range on the turn.

  • @tuubi2783

    You can obviously do anything with this hand on the turn but in general our range wants to be checking a lot since villain will fold all of his misses OTF but we still have many bluffs in our range that do not improve at all OTT

    Why didn't you overbet the turn at 17:13 in table 1? Is it because of the blockers that you have?

    20:05 you mention that the table gives you live vibes because of the multiway pots etc I guess... I play a couple of very soft games in Mexico and Vegas but I find hard to adapt my game to all of the multiway spots, limps, etc... Do you also play GTO when playing live? Thank you mate, you are awesome!!!

    @@alexanderj9727 Yes allowing for a small size will increase the betting frequency compared to a larger size. I'm playing 50% or check on that flop (I don't mix any flops) and I have oop checking 35% of the time, which is decent I'd say. gyazo.com/93efcac2443fe57567432c4d6f380383

    @AomIsHot22 obviously it's spot dependent, but sb v bu 3bp happens very often, and recalling that K high boards are very good for the pfr and are generally a high freq bet is important
