I had a giggle from your daughter in law’s comment about the sharpie! I had breast cancer and multiple surgeries resulted, but they marked which ones they were going to remove with a sharpie, too! We made them smiley faces so they would get a giggle, too! Everything came out fine, but the sense of humor was really helpful! I’m praying for your DIL! I enjoyed your crafting today! Thank you for sharing!

Summer Holidays as a kid in the 60's ... same for me. My dad would drive us there, stay for the weekend, and visit back on as many weekends as we were there. It was always such a thrill when he arrived - special things would happen - fishing, horse riding. Happy times. Thanks for reminding me

That was so fun. I love the idea of doing ephemera half way between making just the bases and completely finishing the piece. It makes perfect sense to make some items that way. The pieces will be perfect for the two journals you’re working on. The weather is so strange here too. Our temperatures are warmer than normal, but our last frost date isn’t until the first of May. Strange times.

Wonderful pieces to add to your journals. I was ogling the Journal Shed fabrics, fabulous. All of these ephemera will find a perfect spot in your journals. Shabby is hard for you and grunge is just about impossible for me. Oh and mixed media. 😂

What a delightful video, Carol. I have had a few issues and haven’t been on a crafty mood much lately. Watching your craft with me has made me feel like grabbing some papers, Tim Holtz dolls etc. and have a go myself. 🥰 Though I love everything you created, I guess I was especially drawn to the bride and groom on that beautiful vintage envelope! So happy this morning to see a video from you😊 Love your makes today, especially the envelopes with the material on front, so pretty. My husband had cataract surgery recently and it took days for the mark to come off his forehead😂 Hope your daughter-in-law's surgery was successful. I too was born with a lazy eye but it never turned in just legally blind in that eye. Have a blessed and beautiful day.....stay well❤

hi, it might be a tim holtz one, but I know there are labels like this in kits, I think Tracie Fox (love junk journals) may have some in her postal/travel kit, I know I have seen them somewhere x
