Great lecture with so many lessons! Thank for making it so easy to follow and understand. Suggestion: do consider making an updated video with some clips of live demonstrations of some activities (e.g the feeding process or care of the snail pen). This will be extremely helpful as well. Yes, you can venture into snail production. It is an enterprise that doesn't require much attention. You feed and give water once a day. Once their pen is conducive (cool and dark during the day) there's no hindrance to their performance and growth.

Thanks for the simple course. Capturing over 2000000 small scale farmers across the country is possible. If one peasant farmer manages only Two hectoor of land then 4 million hectors of crops is cultivated. Thereby having over Four thousands of farms 100 hectors by 100hectors across the country. The agro production is improved , low prices of agro produce and huge export s to DRC from January to December.

Thank you for the lessons, but you didn't mention plastic drums. Does it mean that they can not be used. 2. If it is a concrete wall and floor, how can the excess water be removed.

Plastic drums can be used to raise snails too. You must have a layer of top soil laid on the concrete floor. You also do not need excess water. You need just enough to keep the snail house just damp.

I started one with about a hundred picked snails but was discouraged when one morning, I woke up to see black soldier ants invade the house from under the ground and killing them all. What could be done to prevent such?

Ants are major pests to snails and an invasion of the snail pen by ants is a disaster. The solution is to prevent ants from gaining access into the snail pen. If your snails are housed in a cage, you need to have an oil base- gaurd at the foot of each leg-stand of the cage. It is simply adding some engine oil into a container and placing the foot of the stand in it. This will prevent ants from climbing the cage from the ground. There are other ways too, video on them coming soon

Hello Iruoma, typically, snail eggs hatch within 2 to 4 weeks, but the exact time can vary based on factors like species, temperature, and humidity. If snail eggs aren't hatching, it could be due to unfavourable conditions such as incorrect humidity levels, temperature fluctuations, or poor egg health

Hi good morning, i is very interested in the snail 🐌farming, but I is living on the next side of the world in the Caribbean Islands 🏝from November i is watching the KZread video of snail farming, this one is very interesting, on January 3rd it is raining 🌧in my country so I went out and got about 200 snail, yes made a pen from wood 🪵the only thing is that the snail 🐌are the AF snail i will love to get some of the AA or the AM snail, thanks for sharing your story God bless you
